After getting a $450 quote for bite guards from the dentist, I thought that giving this product a try was indicated. I'm so thankful that I did! I have teeth grinding and clenching issues. You do need to do a bit of work to create dental impressions/molds of your teeth with the items that they supply in the package. However, their instructions were very good and it really wasn't hard at all. They then provide a box to return the impressions back to their lab and provide a return label free of charge for the box. It took about 3 weeks to get the finished bite guards. I got them back and they have a perfect fit and are actually comfortable to put in at night. Wow! The package came quickly, with clear instructions and lots of materials for making a good tooth impression (you don't have to worry about not getting it right on your first try). When I sent in photos to confirm that the impression was good, they replied within minutes. They were also very helpful when I had questions about the process, always replying to emails right away. This mouth guard is great. It’s custom made from a kit you’re sent to make a mold. Instructions are clear and someone approves your mold via photo. Mail the mold back, and a few weeks later you get a well fitting mouth guard. It’s as good as the one my dentist made that cost me a lot more. Read more

The final product is ok. Not as tight a fit as from a dentist but the value is great. It took 4 attempts to get the mold set for my top teeth. So, if you have a small mouth, be aware. The bottom mold was easier. Communication with the company was GREAT!!! They are patient and willing to walk you through the process. Unsure of the durability, time will tell. The same custom mouth guards are so expensive at dentist offices, I had instead used the cheap store bought sports type for years. The price here was reasonable enough for me to finally buy a real custom mouth guard. The kit gives you everything I needed and a lot extra just in case. You photograph your mold imprint and upload this for them to examine and approve before sending it to the lab. The finished product is excellent and customer service was very helpful through the process. I finally have a real mouth guard and I can't believe I put up with those cheap ones for so long. Well, I do know why and that's because they are usually way too expensive. Those companies probably use the same, or similar lab and just overcharge. Read more

The molding compound is supposed to be non-toxic, but it left an orange stain and bad taste on my tongue which lasted several hours. It scared me to imagine what I might have ingested, and I wondered if the mouthguard itself would be made of safe materials. Secondly, after you do the mold, you're supposed to get a mailing label emailed from the company so you can ship your mold to them and have a custom mouthguard made and then shipped back to you. I did finally receive the shipping label but only after multiple requests. They kept putting me off without explanation as to why there was a waiting period just to get an emailed shipping label. Overall, I felt that this product and/or company may be suspicious therefore I decided not to follow through with shipping my mold to them. Read more
