This Cable Is Fantastic
I have a couple pairs of Bose headphones for studio use that need to be wired to eliminate latency. The OEM cables were cheap, thin and short. The Mr Rex cable is a considerable upgrade. Compatibility, connectivity and sound quality are great. The construction is fantastic. The cable is solid and thick but not overly bulky. In addition, the cable holds its shape well and doesn't tangle easily. There are also several lengths available to fit your specific need. Mr Rex is my go to brand moving forward. Read more
huge improvement to the original aux cable.
I bought this to replace the ones that came with my cheap headphones. It honestly improved the sound quality of the headphones I picked up in Walgreens. Great for Bose to MacBook Air Connection
I have Bose headphones and bought another aux cable but it didn’t work however these cables connect to my Mac book air and headphones. Good quality, it’s long and flexible, it sounds great and looks super high quality and so far it has been really durable. Read more
A Great Cable - for 2 1/2 months. Then it quit working.
I purchased this audio cable on Dec 22, 2025. Less than 3 months later, on March 8, 2026, it quit working. At first, I thought it was my headset going bad, because one of the earphones would cut out. But then I changed out to a different cable and everything was fine again. Therefore, THIS cable was the culprit. I know this sort of thing happens when a manufacturer uses very cheap, very thin wiring in their cables, and just a few flexings of the cable is enough to break the wire inside the insulation. I initially rated this as 5 stars, because it was working great, but since it broke in less than 3 months, I had to downgrade my rating to one star. If the provider contacts me and offers a more sturdy replacement, I will come back and update this review, but until then, I am sad to have wasted my money on this cable. Read more

My cats chewed the 3.5mm to 2.5mm aux cord that came with my JBL headphones. I used it for my PlayStation controller. Bought this as a replacement and it’s nice. Doesn’t have that weird static sound if you move the ends around. Sound quality is normal. The aux ends are nice and thick metal. Connects/snaps into place firmly. I saw other reviews state they needed to sand the ends down to fit. My headphones don’t have the recessed aux port so it’s not an issue for me.
