Love this knife!! Got it for work and it flips open great, doesn't open when it's in my pocket, and can't even tell it's in my pocket when I'm working. It's still pretty sharp after cutting boxes and when I first got the knife, it was able to cut through paper. Overall great knife for the price!! I bought one of these knives a year or so ago, and when it broke at the beach I came right back to buy another. This knife is absolutely fantastic. It's sharp out of the box, unique, and comes with a quick assisted open. The blue blade and sleek design will immediately set it apart from other knives while it retains a flawless functionality. The only thing I would suggest if you plan to buy this knife is that you also get the right hex key to fit the screws holding everything together. My first one broke because the screw came loose and fell out. It's nearly impossible to find a replacement screw, so I would plan ahead. You should be able to pick up the right set of hex keys at any car parts store like AutoZone. You shouldn't need to tighten it often, and if you tighten too much it won't open, but if the screw starts to come loose you can just snug it up a little and the knife will be good as new. If the screw DOES come out on you, there isn't any real danger as there is a tube fitting it screws into that will hold the blade and handle together, but that will fall out eventually as well and the pieces will be loose and wobbly making the knife essentially useless. I was heading out on a wilderness trip to the amazon rainforest and needed something to defend me from wild animals... not! This knife is a great knife as long as you know it's limitations! Some people write bad reviews on an item that's only five dollars. Really?! So when I ordered this $10 knife for a camping trip, I thought I knew what to expect, and then it surprised me! First off this knife came close to hair-shaving-sharp. Once I sharpened it the knife became skin-shaving-sharp! So don't be afraid that it can't get sharp. However, because of how easily it will get sharp, don't expect it to hold an edge after a week of hard hiking use. I will still stay fairly sharp, but after a week it won't be skin-shaving-sharp. Other than that I was really surprised at it's overall durability. If I were to drop the knife accidentally (yes it's happened!) this knife won't break. Other knives that I have chip easily, this one will chip it hit hard enough but not as easily as others. One concern is that I noticed at the blade side that some of the blue is starting to wear away, you'll be able to see it in one of the pictures. While I'm on the subject though, wow that blue color is sure nice! All I can say is compliments, compliments, and more compliments are what I've been receiving by others about the color and design in general! Would definitely buy it again! Read more
