I was worried about the beads on these headbands, but they are fixed on pretty tight. They arrived in perfect condition and the colors are very pretty and varied. I've worn three of the headbands since I received them and they were all comfortable and pretty. Some of the selections on Amazon looked too bright for me. These were beaded but not bold in brightness or color - they just complimented my outfits and hair nicely. I think these are pretty and would work well for a young woman or girl. I like the colors and the iridescent sheen. However, they didn't look right with my gray and thinning hair. I couldn't wear them with my glasses because, of the strain it put on the ear area. I tried putting my glasses over the ends of these head bands, but it ended up cause stress cracks on the glass frames and even broke some of my glasses. putting glasses on first and then the head band caused tension headaches.
