The quality seems to be okay. I wanted to put my soap dispenser on top of them for the bathroom. My fault for choosing these because they are very small. Without anything to keep them from lying flat on the counter, the water and soap just pools around them. They really serve no purpose other than just making more area to constantly keep clean. One of my pet peeves is having soap in a dish that makes the bottom of the soap get all soft and yucky because water collects at the bottom of the soap dish. That is exactly what we had in our bathroom until a few days ago. We had a traditional ceramic soap dish that looked very nice, but allowed water to puddle at the bottom, even though the dish has ridges at the bottom to try to keep the soap out of the water. When I saw these stone drying disks I figured I had nothing to lose, so I ordered them. They do come in a package of three identical disks, although I am only showing one in my picture. The important thing is that the stone does wick the moisture from the soap so that it stays dry. It really, really works, which I was not expecting. These are great for helping to keep water from getting on the counter. I would only want them to be a bit bigger to accomodate the larger items you may want to use it for, scrub brushes and the like. We have something similar for the bathroom floor mat and love it. Easy to clean when it gets grimy. Read more

This is a set of some small coaster sized stone drying mats, also known as diatomaceous earth to some. It absorbs water well. I use these for various places around sinks and other drippy places. I'm usually very good about making sure to dry up an area and never allow water to sit on a counter since it becomes a dirt magnet and more difficult to clean. However, not everyone else is that careful, so at least this reduces some sitting wetness that may damage surfaces and attract more dirt. Read more
