Purchased for a fountain that has approximately 25 gallons of water. I put in 1 tablet since the directions said 10 for 250 gallons. After a few days the was no change so I put in another one. Still no change after a week. So I put in 2 more but still green after a week. I’m guessing these were a waste of money. I guess I should have emptied it and refilled it but didn’t want to waste the water. Read more

It does prevent the build up of slime in my horse water tanks, but it leaves a milky white cloudy residue and it doesn’t get rid of algae at slime that’s already built up. You need many more tabs in each tank than the bottle states. Read more

I picked these up because I was having water issues with my 55 gallon tank I keep my turtle in. I would have to do constant water changes to keep up with the sludge and smell so I tried these tablets. So far they seem to be doing a good job and I seem to have to change water less due to a huge reduction of sludge and organic debris from the bottom of the tank. So I'm happy with the purchase. I also chip off a little and put some in my betta fish tank just to keep things nice in there. Both the turtle and fish don't seem to be bothered at all by me adding the pellet so it looks like this product is natural and safe for my fish and turtle and also didn't effect the plants in the tank at all. I like that this doesn't contain any harmful chemicals so I don't have to worry about any future issues. The size is great because you get so many of those little pellets. It’s so easy just to throw them right in their pond and it helps get rid of or keep down the muck that all these ducks tend to bring about lol.
