I was terribly hesitant in ordering this face wash because nowhere did the advertising list the ingredients. For individuals with skin sensitivities or fragrance reactions, this lack of product detail could easily detract many from ordering the product (I almost didn't order it because of this). I am glad that I did order it. Here is why: The actual ingredient list is fairly clean (comparatively), it's made in the US, the product is a clear pinkish toned gel, you only need a very small amount (so this will last), it seems to do a great job with clarifying and cleaning my skin, and left it feeling soft and clean. Things to note: The ingredient list is ONLY on the box that you end up tossing out (I included a picture of the ingredients here). The cleanser does have a slight floral scent that not all may like. It's not strong enough to linger on the skin for very long. It, to me, seems to work as a skin clarifying cleanser, so I will only use it once or twice a week otherwise this would dry my skin out too much. Truly, only use a very small amount. A little goes a long way with thos product. Otherwise you might be spending some time rinsing it off. I would have given this a 5 star had they listed the ingredients within the advertising somewhere. This just comes off to me like they are trying to hide something. Also, I belive it should state clarifying cleanser due to the fact it does seem to have a drying effect to the skin. As a side note, I did have some blemishes on the side of my face, and after just one wash they cleared up, and by the second wash they went away completely. Mind you, the blemishes had been there for at least a month. Overall, I would consider this a very good face cleanser and am satisfied with how well it has cleaned my skin and cleared my skin. This facial cleanser smells mostly like soap, not much of a basil or peach scent. The scent lasts a long time and is very strong, and not very pleasant despite what the name of the product suggests. The opening in the tube is large and the cleanser is thin, so a LOT comes out, when you just need a little for your face. In use it's very soapy in general, not foamy like most other facial cleansers I've used. It seems more like a hand soap than a face soap in that regard. In addition, it has an AHA (lactic acid) that wasn't mentioned in the listing - the listing does say it is exfoliating and promotes cell turnover and increases collagen production, but not how it does that. The answer is the use of Lactic Acid. I do like that it's natural and made in the USA, and my face does feel clean after using this, but I much prefer other facial cleansers, including other AHA cleansers, for their nicer, more subtle smells and for being less soapy.
