A simple effective nicely design supportive brace, without being too constrictive. I can use these while doing almost any task including heavy lifting. Wrist movement is restricted as much as you wish depending on how tight you make the wrap. You are able to use in either direction, pulling the thumb inward toward the palm or outward like stretching the thumb outward so there is a certain amount if thumb restriction you can gain also. This one is not the strongest of the type though it is thinner for those who prefer medium duty. Mine suffered velcro wear fairly quickly but I do some dirty projects and heavy lifting to be fair. Having broken my wrist twice over the years, I find that repetitive physical labor leaves a deep aching pain at the end of the day. Grooming horses or cleaning the barn leaves my hand & wrist swollen and really hurting. I've tried ACE bandages, heavy braces from the doctor, self adhesive vet wrap (intended for horses) and now this Mueller support wrap. I am LOVING this wrap! It's super soft against the skin and very comforterable to wear - even the 102 degree heat we're having this summer. Despite the intense heat and a LOT of movement while wearing this wrap, it holds it's place without shifting and it's thin enough to wear under gloves. There is some heat build up under the wrap, but personally, I find it soothing. I am going to buy a second one to keep as a spare for the future. Read more

My wrist is 5.5inch around and I couldn’t find any wrist brace that fit me without the extra long straps that catching on things. I even bought the kid size. This one has felt-like material on the surface so the velcro can stick on anywhere you put it which allows me to tighten all the way. I am happy to find it. Read more
