It’s always superrrr hard for me to find boots that don’t gap around the calf like floppy rain boots. These are perfect! They even came in a tall Muk Luks boot box, so no folded marks on the boots at all. Beautiful presentation. Great gift. Plus they have Memory Foam! So they will definitely be a comfort shoe vs pure fashion- which I greatly appreciate! I got them on a crazy sale for $20 and it was a total steal. Fave purchase in a long time. After seeing them, I definitely would pay the full price $70-100 cuz they’re that good. If you’re on the hunt for a chic slim boot for fall and winter, this is IT! Let me say these are nice boots. No extra loops, straps, chains, or God forbid bows. Just simple well-made boots from toe to knee with a good solid rubber sole. They have just over 2-inch heels but it’s not stiletto or chunky, it runs the length of the sole and is definitely non slip. They are fur lined so would be warm. I don’t recall if the add said they are real leather, but if not they certainly have the look and feel of soft leather. The part that covers the leg is soft, not stiff. Having said that, this kind of boot is not for me. I have chubby calves and at first I didn’t think I would even get them zipped. But I’m persistent and with a little effort I got the zipper all the way up. That’s where I ran into the second issue. They come all the way to the knee and in my case a bit more. When I sat down, I could feel the top push against the back of my knee. Not comfortable at all. And they were tight, not just snug but tight. There was no way I was going to be able to add even a thin pair of socks. Being this tight made the skin right above my knees bulge out. Not a pretty sight! So, if you have long, slender legs with no excess flesh in your thighs, these would probably look terrific, but if you are of a shorter stature or have chubby legs, I’d not recommend these. I'm so glad I gave these a try- I was nervous my calves wouldn't fit- but they do!! These are super cute, high quality boots. On a younger customer with (much) smaller calves, these look really cute folded over; it almost completely changes the look, but they look great worn either way. The inside is very soft, it's lined with a creamy white in color, plushy, fur-like material- it makes the perfect cuff folded over. But again, this won't work with every calve shape and size. I'm happy to wear them as shown in the pictures- I have just enough room to go over leggings and they fit snug enough without bulky lines to go under boot cut or straight leg jeans and/or other pants!! If these are still available in your size- go for it!! Speaking of which, they are true to size; I did NOT order up to accommodate thicker, more muscular calves. Maybe that means they run big, all I know is I got my true-to-size size and they fit perfectly. Would highly, HIGHLY recommend. Read more

Overall these boots are very well made. You can tell a lot of thought was put into the design. However, inside the left boot the foot plate that covers the whole bottom is short. I got an 8 which fits perfectly, the insole they added is a 7.5. You cannot to be this so you can feel the huge gap between the top of the shoe and where the insole starts. Which means you will feel like you’re walking on a stick the whole time you wear these. I am terribly disappointed because these were a gift. Upon further examination you can clearly see glue meeting the materials together. Honestly it is so normal to see this now that it doesn’t make a difference anymore. Also I’m not a huge fan personally of the “fake wood” wedge or heel, but again it’s so normal now. The boots feel very sturdy and are fleece lined which means you wouldn’t need thick socks. I wish there was quality control between phases of the shoe making process because this is an obvious error that could have been resolved. But I won’t ding anymore stars because this is a one off and these are one of the best constructed boots I’ve received for a decent price point. Read more
