I've taken collagen supplements for a few years now. My preferred form is hydrolyzed collagen powder. Usually I use bovine collagen powder, because it's the most readily available in stores and online. I was excited to have the opportunity to review this product, as it contains a combination of bovine, fish, chicken bone broth and even eggshell membrane collagen. My understanding is that different collagen sources can provide different benefits, so this is a good way to put that to the test. Besides the collagen, this powder contains vitamin C, biotin, hyaluronic acid, keratin and elastin. Those are all great ingredients, and it's nice to have them in combination with collagen. If you're already a collagen user, you probably know that there are different types, even aside from their specific sources. This product offers five types: I, II, III, V, and X, which is a lot. The package came with a plastic scoop. The recommended serving size is two scoops of powder, or approximately 11 grams. There are stated to be 41 servings in the package. With any collagen, I like to stir the powder into my coffee, so long as it's flavorless and dissolves easily. This powder had slightly more of a taste than some others I've tried, but not offensively so. And it dissolved quickly—I barely had to stir it. The package, by the way, just suggests stirring it into plain water (hot or cold). I am not able to say yet what specific effects this collagen product has had on me, if any. The effects or benefits of most nutritional supplements are subtle, or only reveal themselves over a long term. Also keep in mind that I have been using other collagen products for years, so any difference that this one makes might be hard to separate out. Nevertheless, I rate it 5 stars. The number of types of collagen here, the variety of sources, and the additional ingredients make it an outstanding option, in my opinion. Read more

This RSGRT Multi Collagen Peptides Powder comes in a bright pink resealable bag that stores it nicely. There are great ingredients, covering a wide spectrum of collagen types. It's a great value at ~ $15 a pound. I didn't notice my smell or taste, but it was tricky to get it to mix in properly. If you are using a blender or bullet or something like that there isn't a problem, but it won't just "stir in" if that is what you are looking for. Read more

So I waited to make my review so I could give my honest opinion. I mixed mine in water very well and let it settle for about 2 minutes than drank it on down. It's not for sipping so it's best to drink it all down all at once if possible. First off I noticed the energy I had immediately afterwards. About 30 minutes later I started feeling as if my brain was a bit sharper!! I felt freshed!! Over the next few hours I felt as if I had some really good vitamins almost child like again. My joints even felt a little better. Lasted about 8 hours. I have choosen to take this ever other day until gone. I may have just found my thing!! I would definitely give it a try and as always follow the instructions that come with it. If you have any health concerns consult your doctor before trying these Peptides. Over all I love it!! Thank you!! Read more

I've been using collagen powder for years, and this blend of Types 1, 2, 3, 5, and 10 seems to be the new thing. I add the powder to my coffee and protein shakes and appreciate the additional types of collagen that are intended to help with collagen, bones, and digestive health. The powder has no smell or taste and hasn't upset my stomach. There are some cheaper options, but this product isn't significantly more expensive. The only issue I have with this powder is that it doesn't blend very easily, and the clumps are a hassle to get out, especially in cold beverages like my protein shakes. At first, I thought it might be due to the Hyaluronic Acid, but I have another similar powder that doesn't clump. Read more

There are 28 types of collagens, labeled by types I through XXVIII. As you read through them you find the labeling was on purpose, as it seems the most important ones are at the beginning of the list. Therefore, with this product, you are getting the 'top 5' included in one simple to use powder - along with a few other healthy additives. It states to dissolve in warm liquid. I tried it in a cold liquid, and it didn't dissolve so well. However, in a warm liquid like coffee, the very fine powder quickly disappears and does not alter the taste of the coffee. I like that it is a powder, as you can adjust the amounts as desired, and split between different drinks if that suits your intake needs. Bag is easy to open and reseal. There is no odor to the powder even when first opened. I like that it includes a lot #, manufactured date, and expiration date - which is almost 3 years out on my bag. With 41 days per bag at daily dosage, this is among the better deals out there for this type of collagen supplement. Everything is right, nothing wrong, I recommend this product. Read more

Unfortunately, I find this powder extremely unpleasant, to the point that I am not able to use it at all. The description warns that "some clumping may occur", but that is a huge understatement. In any cold liquid like water or juice, the powder forms a clumpy, gooey texture which I find frankly revolting. Hot liquids aren't quite as bad, but frankly it absolutely ruins a pleasant cup of coffee. Perhaps blended up in a smoothy it wouldn't be noticeable, but unfortunately that's not something I ever do, so not a solution for me. The taste is, at least, quite mild (slightly sweet). I was only able to choke it down 3 times before I gave up, so I really can't evaluate its actual effectiveness. Read more
