This is a great sleeping bag! Lightweight, easy to fold, easy to travel with, and easy to use zipper too. However, as with all sleeping bags, in order to use it in weather below 30 degrees, you must be "bundled up" before getting in the bag. In cold weather, using a common "throw" blanket between yourself and the bag will make a huge difference. That said, I used it inside of a tent while camping in the mountains. Overnight weather dropped to 29 degrees. Yes, I was bundled up, and yes, I used a "throw". And, I placed this sleeping bag on top of an inflatable mattress. With all of that, it was perfect. It did the job and kept me warm and comfortable. The construction looks really good. I believe that it will last. For the price, I totally recommend it :) Read more

The sleeping is good, pretty cozy and keeps you warm. Although, the zipper broke after two nights of using it. No biggie though it can be fixed. Read more

Used this on a couple camping trips this fall and it did exactly what I needed. Nights got pretty chilly and I stayed warm without feeling sweaty or cramped. The mummy shape helps hold heat in, and the hood is nice when it gets colder overnight. It packs down small enough to fit easily with the rest of my gear and is not too heavy to carry. Zipper worked smoothly and the material feels durable — also handled a little damp ground without any issues. I would not take it into extreme winter conditions, but for spring through fall camping it is a solid option. Good value and comfortable to sleep in. Read more

There are better bags on the market for the price. We buy sleeping bags for the homeless. This bag is super light/thin. Not a bad thing but not as warm as other fluffier mummy bags on the market. I wouldn’t suggest these for no shelter camping. The biggest irritation about this bag is the low quality super small carrying bag. It comes so packed in it that you can barely get it out and good luck getting it back in. I think it’s a good bag for the average person who has shelter to sleep inside but not for frigid temps and not for someone who wants a carry bag to put it back into. It’s also a tight bag. Got the length but not the girth for bigger people. It’s a tight fit for sure Read more

As in the title, Kept warm down to 32 on ground with long Johns on with no sleeping pad and just a tarp. These used to say good to 10*f but Walmart has since updated their website to say 25. Granted being a mummy back you have to be tucked in with the head draw string pulled tight to get near the warmth. We lurches for their light weight and small size for backpacking. If you are car camping I would get a heavier and thicker bag, but is size/weigjt a concern and you are not ready to spend tons more this is a great gateway bag Read more

Worked ok in the fall here in Iowa but definitely won't keep you warm in real cold weather comfortably. Would work excellent for summer camping. Read more
