Five stars for the price vs performance aspect. You never find this type quality for the price these days, so I opted to leave five stars. As far as the scent goes, well it's not the best but it doesn't smell that bad. Doesn't really smell like orange, but does have the blossom aspect down as its base notes. Otherwise, high stinging and burning as you'd expect with most aftershaves, because of its high alcohol content. All in all well worth the price and another good addition to my shave den as I buy vintage Barber Shop bottles and fill them with vintage style aftershaves. This one suits the bill and brings back the old style feelings of yesteryear. Read more

I notice several other negative reviews say that this does not smell like oranges. To clarify, orange blossoms have a light, sweet fragrance that doesn't smell much like the fruit itself either. But this cologne doesn't smell like either. You do get a hint of orange blossom, but it is overlaid with a strong musty, smoky smell that I, like some others here, found repellent. Many years ago visitors to Florida could, for a minimal price, pick up a little bottle of Anderson's orange blossom perfume. It's no longer made, and I have yet to find a replacement. I was hoping this would be it, but it lacks the light, fresh fragrance of the real thing. Someone mentioned that there's a hint of sandalwood...and I think they may be referencing the strong, somewhat acrid smell that others of us have found so objectionable. For what it's worth, I like sandalwood. This is closer to cigarette smoke in my estimation, and I HATE the smell of cigarette smoke. Scent is a very subjective thing, and obviously what one person likes, another won't. The best way to sum it up is that if you are looking for a true orange blossom scent like the one you remember from that trip to Florida when you were a kid, this isn't it. Read more

Weird plastic bottle that reminds me of my late grandfathers old aftershave. You literally have to dump this in your hands to apply or reuse an old spray perfume bottle. When it first is applied it is very strong and a bit medicinal, but after about ten minutes it smells very nice and just like fresh orange blossoms. The scent lasts all day and I get loads of compliments on it! Nice to find something that smells real, lasts, and is VERY inexpensive! Read more

The smell is pretty close to orange blossom. If you smell it out of the bottle, it smells acrid, but after the alcohol or whatever evaporates and it's on your skin, it smells good. If I smell it and then smell orange blossom water, this cologne isn't quite as sickly sweet as the water, but it does have the base note so I'm happy with it. I noticed a lot of people said the scent doesn't last long enough, but I can still smell it by the time I'm driving home from work, so like 8 hours later. It's not strong, but it's still there. I'm a dude and I just like the way orange blossoms smell so it's not like I'm trying to cloud up the room with orange blossom (or use it for some demon summoning or whatever the other people seem to be using this for...). I usually put a little dab on my wrists and rub it between them, and that's it. I do work in a very cold office though so that might have something to do with it. I also have eczema and most colognes will cause it to flare up if I put them on my skin, but not this one. So that's cool. I think it's worth a try for the price. Read more

This is exactly what I thought it would be. I grew up in a small citrus town in south Florida. Every year, we'd make the trek up to Webb's Citrus Candy Factory and buy candy and orange blossom perfume (we would save our allowance because it cost a whole seventy-five cents!) I bought this for sentimental reasons and got exactly what I thought I would. If you're looking for a great orange blossom perfume, this is definitely not it. If you were raised in a small citrus town and thought this was a very big deal (buying our own perfume!), then it'll bring back wonderful memories and your husband will ask you why you're wearing it. If you want THE orange blossom perfume, go with Jo Malone Orange Blossom, it smells like the real deal (and I'll review that tomorrow!) Read more
