Beautiful sounds and great quality right out of the box We just received this set and were immediately impressed. The sounds are soft, calming, and really pleasant—not noisy or overwhelming like many kids’ instruments. I have bought many musical instrument in the past, but this one by far is the best! Our child was drawn to the rain and ocean drums right away and loved turning them over to hear the sounds change. The quality really stands out. Everything feels solid, well made, and just right for small hands. The kalimba has a lovely tone and is easy for little fingers to explore. This is a wonderful set for sensory play, creativity, and early motor skills, and it feels like something you’d expect to see in a music classroom rather than a typical toy box. This is a good start for kids and music. The quality is decent for the price. The rain maker sounds like a rain maker, the drum is small so it doesn't have that soothing sound I was looking for, but still....kids had fun with it. the small star doesn't work with my adult fingers, but works with the littles. The little tambourine/drum is fun, but I can see kids trying to break it to get the little balls out, because.....kids. Definitely watch your littles while they are playing with it. Read more

My granddaughter got this set for Christmas and LOVED it. Of all her gifts, this was the one she had open and playing with right away. The steel drum has a lovely sound, and the color palette is also serene and beautiful. The kalimba is pretty tiny, but it works fine in small hands.
