Sleek light that sets a great after dark mood in our yard. Holds charge most of the night. Recommended. Read more

Lighted path

Gives a soft hue of light around the light itself. Pricey with a statement, definitely gives a nice touch. The lights seem to be manufactured with quality. Read more

Sturdy, modern solar lights

I am impressed with the quality, and brightness. The remote is not effective unless you are close, but they come in at dusk so only needed if you want to dim the light. I love the way they look! Read more

★★★☆☆

Nicely built but needs better light output.

I loved the build quality and the rugged feel for these lights. I was really impressed with the quality and design. Sadly the amount of light these put out was not a lot. At night, you could see the light but it did not provide enough light. Had intended to place them along the edges of the patio but then went with a smaller light that actually did a better job. Finally, an aluminum solar bollard that doesn’t feel like a toy.

I’ve tested a lot of solar lighting through the Vine program, and most of them end up in the recycling bin after one season because of cheap plastic stakes or leaky seals. This unit is a refreshing departure from that. The Build Quality The first thing you’ll notice is the weight. This isn't that flimsy "soda-can" aluminum; it’s a thick, powder-coated housing that feels like it belongs in a commercial park. The IP65 rating is legit—we had a heavy sleet storm yesterday, and there was zero internal condensation this morning. Performance & "Real World" Battery The 2200mAh battery is the MVP here. Most path lights ship with a 600 or 1200mAh cell. The Math: On a clear day, I hit the advertised 8–10 hours easily. The Reality: On a cloudy Tuesday, it still managed about 5 hours of solid output. Brightness: It’s a clean, modern throw. It’s designed to illuminate the ground around it, not blind you as you walk past. Installation Note Be aware: this is a surface-mount unit. You aren't sticking this into the dirt. I bolted mine into the concrete edge of my driveway. It’s rock solid—it won't lean over when a leaf blower hits it or a dog brushes past it. If you want these in a garden bed, you'll need to pour a small concrete paver or "footing" first. The Remote: Gimmick or Useful? I thought the remote was unnecessary until I realized I could drop the brightness to 50%. At full blast, they are quite bright for a residential yard. Dimming them gives a much more "high-end hotel" vibe and practically guarantees they’ll stay lit until sunrise. Stays Put: Bolting to concrete means it stays level forever. Material: Real metal and glass/heavy poly, not cheap film. Longevity: Large battery capacity means more charge cycles before it wears out. Permanent: Once you drill the holes in your concrete, you’re committed to that spot. Price: You’re paying for the aluminum; it’s an investment compared to $10 plastic stakes. Final Verdict If you’re tired of replacing "disposable" solar lights every year and have a concrete surface to work with, these are a massive upgrade. They look expensive, they feel expensive, and they actually stay lit through the night. Would I recommend it? Yes—especially for driveway perimeters where you want a clean, professional look. Attractive as a marker, does not illuminate much area

This light is very attractive and well made. It does not throw a lot of light--it's better suited to delineate a pathway or entrance rather than illuminate much of an area. At best, the light throws about 5 feet, so they would need to be spaced at no greater than ten foot intervals. The light is tall and likely will blow over or get knocked down unless secured. Although the instructions indicate mounting in concrete, I think the base could be staked in the ground (use wire stakes like the ones used for holiday inflatables) and that should be sufficient to prevent overturning. This is a nice light for use in an area where a few hours of sun are available each day. Read more
