This backpack came so fast. It is very cute and durable. It came with a small coin purse which my son loves and thinks is the next thing ever. He is in pre k 4 and this bag is the perfect size for him. Last year we had a toddler backpack and nothing fit in the bag at all. This is a smaller version of a big old backpack but big enough to fit folder, books and his full size lunch box! There are two pockets on each side for water bottles as well. Up until this bag, my daughter's book bags would last about 6 months if we were lucky. She's rough with her book bags, so we'd buy one before the school year started and usually need a new one by Christmas. But NOT THIS BAG! THIS BAG IS AMAZING! It is so well made that it looks brand new, even through we are starting on on third school year with it! The bottom is super reinforced, the straps are durable, the zippers work great...I can't say enough about how awesome this bag is. It made it through 3rd grade and 4th grade without a scratch, rip or tear, and it still looks brand new for 5th grade. I came back to amazon specifically to rave about this bag. It will last you years and look fantastic! Edit to add: I am amazed to say that the bag has survived 5th grade and is still good enough to be heading to middle school this fall. This bag would be 5 stars except for one aspect. First I’ll say the colors are great! It’s sizable and the back is padded. The zippers are sturdy. The material is medium thickness, not too thick but not overly thin either. I actually bought one first, then was so impressed I bought a second one for both kids. The only negative (that I only discovered weeks in) is the utter lack of any waterproofing. My daughter’s water bottle was on the OUTSIDE side pocket and leaked and literally everything on the INSIDE of the backpack got soaking wet. I don’t expect the bag to be fully waterproof but a little bit of water resistance would have been better. If it’s ever raining outside, it cannot be set on the ground without the stuff inside getting soaking wet. With this in mind… I would not buy this otherwise great bag again. But I guess if you’re looking for the a low price… you have to accept some of those negatives. Read more

Great backack, large interior size and front pocket. Well made, no issues noted with zipper or straps and worked really well for our vacation to Hawaii. Of note, the material is more satin-y than not so it does tend to get a bit dirtier than anticipated (which is expected being that it's off-white/cream base color). Overall, comfortable to wear and lots of storage. Only thing I wish it had was side pockets I could put my water bottle in. But that wasn't really an issue for me with travel. Read more

I got this backpack for my 6yr old daughter. It’s very good quality. Zippers work great, no catching or getting stuck. Decent padding inside for laptop insulation. Easy to clean.
