Hopefully this is a helpful review for anyone interested in this type of placemat. I ordered the color Caramel and it's just what I was looking for; I like the washable factor (grandchildren) and the color was exactly what I wanted, not too brown, not too gray or black, rather a more neutral mix of these colors. They are a gray/brown overall color. You see some lighter brown, but it is not the predominant color. There is also a white/cream thread running through the woven design that looks good with white or cream, maybe a bit better for cream, but I tried both and both work. They are thin, but seem plenty sturdy enough, remains to be seen how well they hold up, but for the price, not a concern. I'm interested in Chilewhich ($$$$) but wanted to give something less expensive a try first. These are worth it, I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the color looks and the quality seems good too. Lightweight, looks like a plastic weave. They lay flat and seem durable. Easy enough to clean and looked nice with my Halloween tablecloth. I would have liked a darker orange (these are lighter) but they look nice. Read more

This is the first set I got and have multiple colors in my cart. So far, no stains on them yet so I have yet to see how they stand up to tomato based anything being dropped on them. These are defiantly wrinkle resistant due to being vinyl. As long as they are on a fabric surface, it does not slip or slide. They do lay perfectly flat once out of the package. They are thick, which shows they will hold up to being wiped down. I would say that so far, these are best quality for my money. I want to buy for each holiday and seasons. I got these to match my thanksgiving which was the green, orange and brown color scheme. They are rather large, I see why people cut them down to size but I have an 8 person table, I am not sizing them down. If you have a smaller table, that is an option. Read more

The color of these were spot on. They look great on our glass table in our environment. We were hoping for a Chiliwich dupe and these are okay. They are NOT tightly woven and the color is solid, not varied or varigated as we had hoped. Nonetheless, the price was fantastic and they are placemats. Spills always seep through the gaps in the weave of the mat, so if you don't want your table to get spills on it, do not purchase this product. Furthermore, the gaps make these mats difficult to clean as you must soak them to get any sticky sauces out (sometimes requires a good scrub). If the weave on these placemats were just a tad tighter, there would not be so much cleanup required on the table and mat after dinner. My sister-in-law has Chiliwich and she just wipes and tosses her mats in her drawer after dinner - easy peasy. Read more
