Easy to use, the color is gray! A durable design even if you damage the sides of the plates as it’ll still hold up over time with paint. The grip is a little bit smooth. I kind of wish it was a little bit less smooth and more grippy but this is a person qualm. The handles hold up well and are not painful to hold even at the heaviest weight settings. Can get slippery at times though depending on how your hands feel Especially if you’re sweating. Overall, it is a sturdy design and its adjustment to five increments up to 80lbs is amazing and ideal for anyone especially for the price. Can’t wait to continue to use this set up. I’ve already seen results if you hesitated on these, please give them a shot. It is definitely for people who like a nice compact system. Yes it’s a high price but for what you’re getting it’s worth that price screw expensive gym memberships. It’s time for a revolution in gym training just go on YouTube. Have worked very well so far, easy to set up, definitely recommend the stand. Smooth transition between 5lb increment weights and solid construction. These are incredible. My husband got these for me for my birthday, and we both enjoy how easy they are to use. With just a twist of the dumbbell on the dock, you can increase the weight to your desire, and do anything from bench press, curls, and even squats and deadlifts. The grip is comfortable and sturdy. Adding weight to the dumbbells do not make them feel unstable in the slightest. They even work well with my wrist straps for heavy weight. I thought they would feel very wide or unnatural compared to free weights, but they feel just as manageable as them.
