I’ve been using this water bottle daily, and it’s become my go-to for hikes, gym sessions, and outdoor days. The wide mouth makes it super easy to fill and clean, and it fits most standard cup holders. I love the size — 48 oz keeps me hydrated without constant refills — and it feels sturdy without being heavy. The color is also vibrant and still looks fresh after weeks of use. If you want a reliable bottle that’s built to last and better for the planet, this Nalgene is a solid pick. Read more

I love this water bottle! It has become my new daily standard. I do not use any metals due to allergies, so this is able to help keep me hydrated throughout the day. It is easy to clean due to the wide mouth, it is easy to get my bottle brush inside to clean, although I only keep water inside, I still clean it to make sure I don’t pick up any bugs it may attract. It is high quality and won’t shatter if it is dropped, standard Nalgene design. There is no funny taste from the product, nor is there any odd smell, the water does not pick up anything from the bottle, so the filtered water I drink will still just taste like the filtered water out of the receptacle as it comes out of, fresh and clean. It is possible to change the lid, and get a screw top pouring lid, for sipping, or a straw lid, the design is interchangeable. Also there is NO LEAKING!!! Which is absolutely one of my other favorite things about this bottle, if it gets knocked over it is not going to leak and empty, or spill water all over. It is also a great size, better for hydration! I cannot think of anything I don’t like about this bottle. Read more

Great great water containers for the back country. Strong, durable, and the caps don't leak. I bought four of these and all four came back from the Rockies intact. Good size for day hikes or if there is a dependable water source on a multi day excursion. Go up one size if your going out overnight without a water source. These water containers maxed out the side pocket space on 60 liter and 75 liter packs. I had one each on my 105 liter pack and had space for some snacks to fit with it. Good for the money. Would be awesome for sporting events, camping, backpacking, or whatever else. Read more

Great bottle! Good quality and durable against impacts. I’ve left water in this bottle for days without it tasting like it’s been in a bottle for days. NEVER had that happen before. Best part is it’s safe to use and USA made so good for you and the environment! Will buy again. Read more

I bought this for my dog! There are usually 5-15 dogs each night at the school soccer field playing together and they go through a lot of water or bowls get knocked over so I needed bigger. I was using my regular Nalgene but this is the perfect size to refill the bowls. Easy to clean, good Nalgene quality and tight seal. Read more

A good higher capacity bottle without being too wide to grab. Will not leak even if the water is out in cold and gets hot later. Read more

Edit: Bottle warped slightly after using it as a hot water bottle. I didn't expect this as many backpackers and campers say to fill the nalgene with hot water and stick it in your sleeping bag during colder months. I have several friends who have done the same and their bottles never warped. I filled the bottle with hot water twice and, on the second filling, the bottom of the nalgene rounded out and became uneven. Now, the bottle has trouble staying upright and wobbles. I'm a little sad, but now I know. Maybe it has something to do with the new Sustain plastic??? Such a useful bottle and so pretty too! The "aubergine" color-way is a lot more purple in person, but I like it. I've bought 2 now and mainly use mine for camping, hiking, and school. The 48oz capacity is great for keeping me hydrated and the bottle isn't too big or too small. It fits in my backpack's side pocket decently. My backpack has extra straps though, so it would probably slip out of a more "normal" school backpack. The wide-mouth is great for cleaning and for ice! The cap feels very sturdy and I've carried the bottle (full of water) by the loop a lot. It doesn't feel like it'll break any time soon. Read more

Perfect timing picked this up on sale on prime day for my backpacking trip to Yosemite. Great tool to filter water in. Larger than other one I had so worked great at campsite and on trail. Definitely at the sale price point worth the price point. Love the Nalgenes for hiking. Not too heavy, sturdy, and wide mouth for drinking and getting the water into it. I definitely recommend.
