These are the best quart water bottles. Durable. Easy to clean. Forget those people who carry those skinny little nothing bottles around all day to "sip" water a little at a time during the day. Talk about lip service! Who in their right mind during work or leisure can sip water constantly? Only the newbies who are "health conscious" but no not the first things about the fundamentals of health. DRINK water people! Don't just sip it! We all absolutely need a minimum of 1/2 ounce per lb. of body weight each day. If exercising or sweating in hot weather then your body needs at least 25-50% more or more, depending on length or intensity of your activity. For example I weight 190 so I make darn sure I drink at LEAST three quarts every day. In a workout I drink an extra quart, and if outside in the sun even more. Keep in mind that 80% of all hospital visits are for dehydration, and I can verify this since next door to my place of work for the last 25 years is a hospital, and I know many nurses, technicians and doctors who work there- they've all confirmed that 8 out of ten people come in complaining of all sorts of symptoms- and it is usually simple dehydration. See where our health crisis is coming from? Not JUST dehydration, of course, but just think... something that simple.... If you are not used to getting your 1/2 oz. per lb MINIMUM per day then gradually build it up over a few weeks. You may have to alter your diet to make it less dense (get rid o or at least cut down on the clogging, dry dehydrating foods such as breads, grains, pastas, cookies, cakes, snack bars etc. not to mention flesh and dairy, and eat much more fruits and veg to make up the more dense acidic calories) or you may not feel "able" to drink that "much" water (it really is nothing! Some days when I work out doing hard squats, dead lifts or back work such as chin ups or rows, etc., I can easily down an extra half gallon in 30-40 minutes. And just doing something as effortless as mowing the lawn, but on a relatively hot sunny day, I automatically crave another gallon of water per hour at least. So get to it. These are the absolute best water bottles for serious people who want to feel good. Read more

If you're looking at this, you probably already know what you're doing. I've gone through a few different water bottles and this particular type is my favorite overall (though I am also partial to the small Nalgene bottles). No need for lengthy introductions, let's jump straight to pros and cons. Pros: - Great capacity. I don't think I've ever drank an entire bottle full in one day, though maybe I would if it were my only container - Narrow mouth is perfect. I actually feel like the wide mouth is the "standard" Nalgene look, and maybe the narrow mouth isn't as aesthetic, but it sure works better in every way. - Tritan is great. It's lightweight, nearly indestructible (and will probably never ever biodegrade, for better or worse) and doesn't leave any plastic taste or BPA or anything. Cons: - It's rather large and quite heavy with the water in it - so it's possibly a little large for daily use, depending on your schedule and lifestyle, not much of a con to this particular bottle, just something to be aware of. Overall there's hardly anything to complain about it, it's near indestructible and just about everything you could need in a water bottle. (Note to Nalgene manufacturers: The one-quart bottles are pretty huge, and the one pint bottles are kinda small. A 1.5 pint bottle would be the absolute perfect size, you don't need to make everything in even unit sizes!) Read more

You ever buy something and think, "Whoever designed this clearly didn't use this product, because they never would have put up with these faults." Well, I had the opposite thought after a day of using this water bottle: "Whoever designed this bottle *definitely* used it, because they designed it perfectly." First, the absolute basics: it's BPA free. Water tastes like pure water - no weird plastic-y aftertaste. I got the 32oz version which is great for keeping me hydrated without needing to make trips back and forth to the office water cooler (I have a problem remembering to stay hydrated). I also use this at the gym. It's easy to carry by gripping or by using the plastic cap which has a sturdy, bendable band attached to it. When I'm coming home from work with a bunch of stuff in my hands, I can just carry it with a single finger, even when it's full. I know that seems like a small detail but it's just one more part of the design that makes it great. It looks like a nice, simple water bottle. It doesn't look crazy or tryhard. It is built for functionality and that is reflected in its visual design as well. I have it in blue and mentally it's I find that it helps me enjoy water more. The bottle makes the water look fresh as well as taste fresh. The cap twists on and off very quickly, but also firmly. I have not had any leakage from this water bottle. The narrow, slightly inwardly-curved mouth of this water bottle seals the deal. I'm a bit of a klutz when it comes to drinking, especially if I'm gulping down a large sip. I have yet to spill water out of this bottle. It doesn't even seem like it would be possible to spill while drinking unless I just intentionally poured it onto me. I found this water bottle after a quick search on Reddit for this best water bottle. I have to concur that it's the best water bottle I've ever used. And thanks to its design aspects, I find myself drinking more water. Read more
