I try to use a lot of resins, but find that charcoal ruins the smell of the resins because you’re smelling the charcoal so upon asking numerous people they suggested this as it is very low to no smoke and you actually get the full use and smell and benefits of burning your resins And last time I tried cutting in half and it was pretty hard to do. These coals are great. Coming from CocoNara, I have to say these coals are vastly superior. I didn't realize how toxic the Naras smelled until after I ran out of the CocoUrth and had to use some of the Naras I had left. I originally ordered a small box on eBay but have purchased this lounge case twice now. It's fantastic value. These coals burn really nicely too. When they start getting low, I put another coal on the burner and ash them. They don't turn to dust like some other coals, they manage to retain their shape mostly. I tried so many brands, you name it coco nara, flare.. etc , the list is too long. Honestly this one is the best ever, smooth and absolutely does not change the flavor of your tobacco. It last long enough to enjoy your hookah’ it might be a little more expensive than other brands, but if you want to enjoy your hookah this is the charcoal you need, I ordered one box to try, and I’m placing my order now for my monthly supply. My bf didn't really have many issues with these coals. We did get a bad batch (1 package not the whole order) but out of 960 pieces of coal whatever just get it, it's worth the price. Oh, they do take some time, maybe around 5 mins to heat up. It has been awhile since I've smoked hookah so, I don't remember if 5 min heat up time is comparable to other hookah coals of this kind.
