These cotton swabs are comparable to other brands. They are satisfactory for my purposes of applying salve to my toes without soiling my hands. I believe they are sterile and appropriate for that purpose. The package is not resealable so I must provide a plastic bag or whatever means to keep them safe . Read more

These are sturdy, well made cotton swabs. I read a review where these were said to have a smaller tip than many others (but for the reviewer that was perfect). Yes, I’d agree with that statement as these are tightly wound if that makes sense. Many others have a softer, fluffier tip. While I was a tad concerned initially, I must say I really like these. So, I use cotton swabs for just about everything. The first couple of times, I bought the smaller sets that came 100 swabs per bag. Because I can use a 200-300 swabs a month, this time around, I bought the much larger package. The swabs themselves are fine. But the boxes come with no breakdown, so once you open it, you expose several hundred all at once. Next time, I'll go back to the smaller packs and just buy more of them.
