I remember seeing taxi cab drivers use these back in the 90’s and thought I’d give it a shot. Purchased the beaded seat cover for a jeep Wrangler driver side seat planning to drive across the country and wanting to reduce the usual sweaty back and shorts despite having leather seats. I drove 8,000 miles with this product over the last month and didn’t have any problems with sweaty back or pants, I was absolutely amazed. The real wood beads are held together with a thick woven cord that has not frayed at all. A bonus was the mat that goes under the beads. The mat protects the leather seats and stops the beads from moving around, but it’s also great at managing the crumbs from your snacking! Crumbs fall through the beads and collect on the mat, which you can pull out and shake in the street. This was a fantastic unanticipated feature. The overall quality of the wooden seat cover is good. The beads feel solid and well-made, and it does what it’s supposed to do. The main issue is the attachment system. It hooks over the headrest, but the rest of the cover just hangs loosely over the seat. Because of that, it shifts left and right every time you sit down or move. It doesn’t stay firmly in place. It would be much better if the manufacturer included additional straps or elastic bands to secure it to the seat. With a more stable attachment system, this would be a much better product. Read more

I drive several hundred miles a day in a late model Mack truck. In the past I had discomfort from sweating as there was no way for air to circulate between me and the seat cushioning. With this beaded seat cover, my seat can breathe, greatly reducing sweat and driver seat fatigue. The extra large back covers and attaches very well to my truck seat which is a full size home go back seat. So far, I’ve had no problems with wear. I’ve had the cover for approximately 1 month. Pricey but absolutely fabulous! Real wooden beads nicely and evenly stained. Very strong cordage was used to assemble the beads and it really does matter. There is a fair bit of stress on the thread so it is an important point of quality. I drive 8-10 hours a day and this seat cover keeps by back and bottom cool and dry. Because it is a longer length, it also keeps the backs of my legs off the seat... awesome. The anti-slip pad that comes with the beaded seat cover works wonderfully. So far I love this seat cover. I’m a truck driver and drive over 10 hours a day. I have a plastic/fake leather seat in my work truck. I will stick to that seat if it’s a warm day. Since putting this cover on my seat I have no swamp ass! It is also comfortable. After 10 hours of driving my butt doesn’t hurt and my pants don’t stick to me. I have a few small bungee cords attached to the cover so it doesn’t move when I get in and out of my truck. Overall, I will buy this product again.
