Just as described. Can’t even tell it’s in your drink (I put it in my coffee). Read more
This was my first experience with collagen powder and I had an overall positive experience. I am confident in the Naturalis company and the quality of this supplement, especially since it's made in a GMP-certified facility located in the US. Moreover, this collagen powder is made of Peptan (a brand) collagen peptides, which I’ve learned is one of the best of its kind – high quality, bioactive, and evidence-based to support hair, skin, joints, muscles, and bones. I can’t speak on efficacy as results vary between individuals, but I’ll likely reorder this collagen from Naturalis again if I see positive results in the long-term. Unfortunately, I didn’t quite agree with three claims of taste, odor, and solubility of this collagen powder. The taste isn’t abhorrent or offensive by any means, but it isn’t what I expect “neutral taste” to be. There is also a mild bitter aftertaste. If you’re like me and you don’t like the taste of unflavored fiber, I recommend you mix this collagen powder with a drink instead of with water. I detect a slight odor, almost like sour milk. And as for the instant solubility… I didn’t have that experience at all – it took vigorous (like *extremely* vigorous) mixing for about 30 seconds. It definitely takes more effort and time than mixing electrolyte powder into water. I’ve tried shaking it in a bottle before (but not a shaker bottle with a metal mixer), and that left numerous small, undissolved clumps. Nevertheless, I still believe this collagen powder from Naturalis is a great choice if you’re interested in the health benefits. I also have a good rapport with this brand – in fact, I reordered a supplement from them 3 times in the past, making a grand total of 4 purchases. The company stands behind their product and I’ve even seen review updates from other people regarding their customer service experience when they encountered an issue. I think $9.99 in January 2026 for 7oz (18-day supply) is a fair price for collagen supplementation. P.S. There should be a safety seal under the lid. Read more

This seems to be a good quality collagen. It blends well in my smoothies. Read more
COA matches Lot# of product rec'd. The Naturalis Peptan® is a high-quality hydrolyzed collagen powder. It is bovine Type I & III collagen and is most likely sourced from Brazil. This collagen powders has no fillers. According to a clinical study conducted by Rousselot, the manufacturer, 43% of the bioavailable collagen peptides in Peptan® are in the form of di-peptides and tri-peptides. Clinical studies indicate that these low molecular weight peptides appear to have a higher absorption rate and may deliver results more quickly than standard hydrolysed collagen peptides. The effectiveness of Peptan® has been verified in clinical trials. Peptan® is a standardized high quality product whereas generic collagen hydrolysates may have inconsistent quality, especially as it related to the percentage of lower molecular weight peptides. Third party lab testing does not include testing for the percentage of low molecular weight peptides, just the quality and purity. I've been taking collagen supplements for several years. I've seen noticeable improvement in the overall appearance of my skin and wound healing. While researching Peptan®, I happened upon PubMed studies showing that daily supplementation with specific collagen peptides (similar to the type produced by Peptan® and FORTIBONE®) can counteract age-related bone loss in postmenopausal women. Significant improvements (~5%) in bone mineral density (BMD) using a combination of collagen hydrolysates, vitamin D, calcium, and resistance training generally appear within 6 to 12 months of consistent, high-intensity effort according to clinical studies. Improvements in the overall skin appearance can be seen in a matter of weeks but sustainable bone structural changes are much slower. After dissolving the Naturalis Peptan® in half a glass of cold water, I stir in a packet of Emergen-C. It tastes so good. Vitamin C is also an essential cofactor for collagen production. At the time of my review, Naturalis only offers Peptan® as an 18 day starter pack. Although competitively priced, I'm hopeful they will eventually offer it in an eco-friendly bulk package as does Fernes. Read more
