Bought this dress for a 60th birthday party and I got so many compliments. I initially bought an XL which fit but it was super fitted and made the pockets look weird to me. I ended up getting an XXL and it looked a lot better and gave some room. I am usually an XL (14-16) in dresses, but due to the fitted nature of this dress I would recommend sizing up if you are more voluptuous. The fabric was great and the quality was very good. Okay so for starters, the off the shoulder part, it has buttons! You can choose to show a lot or a little of shoulder. FIRE! Next, it fits all the correct areas, correctly. And then if you're anything like me with a lil gut gut because you stay winter ready, it has side strings to either tie or make fancy. It truly does add to the overflow balance of it. Lastly, it has POCKETS! Not the barely there cheap pockets, no it has full on pockets! When I tell you this did what it was supposed to?! It came, it ate, it did its THANG! I wore this to a quinceanera and it was perfect. I am 5’4”, weigh about 165, and typically wear an 8-10. I got the large in this to make sure I had room and the fit was great. The material is stretchy so if you want a more form fitting look, go true to size. The material is nice and the fit is flattering. The only thing I didn’t like is that the pockets didn’t stay put and the dress kept riding up so I had to keep putting my hands in the pockets and pulling the dress down a little, and that could just be my shape. This dress is the perfect fit, style and length for everything. Add a blazer for work and remove for HH. I put it on my wish list to think about it. I am so glad I stopped playing and got it. I was skeptical on the size at first, but it is true to size. The color is not a vibrant as pictured, it's a little lighter, but still nice. The fabric was stretchy and soft and a beautiful color. The pockets made the hip area baggy and while pockets are a plus it made the hip area baggy. Maybe a smaller size would have been better, but it would have made it tighter in the tummy area as well.
