Lightweight, easy to set up, and easy to sleep on

First, it really is a lightweight and easy-to-setup cot. I'm 6'2" 190 lbs. and it feels very sturdy; it's gonna be subjective but it keeps my body in a good position on my back - I have twice laid on it at home just to test it out and fallen asleep before getting up. I like to scoot down and leave my feet hanging off at the ankles. Feels nice. Seriously, it's super easy to set up, though. Be careful when attaching the legs to the long mat tubes, to not pinch your skin. It can't be avoided bc it needs that tension to hold them upright, so just be careful. It's summer and Florida, so I haven't taken it out camping or backpacking yet, but I think it's going to be one of my favorite pieces of gear since it seems to help me sleep easily. Good product. Highly recommend Read more

Assembly Almost Impossible on First Setup - Gets Easier with Subsequent Use

I bought three for a camping trip. Theoretically it should be an easy assembly. Reality is very different. I fought with this for over an hour and could not get base width to fit cot width until I pushed so hard I thought it would break. It did not but I bought these to help with back issues that result in sleeping on the ground and hurt my back worse putting it together. They are high-quality and sturdy. Update: After the first assembly, it is gets much easier to put these together. Of the three, one was harder than the other two to assemble. The company reached out and stated that are working on an updated version that is easier to assemble. With that said, if you can get past the initial setup, this is a very high-quality product. Want to camp without back pain? Get it now!

This cot is one of the best I have ever had. Holds up to 300lbs, keeps you up off the ground, and is comfortable with or without a cot mattress. This cot was made so that us fluffy folk can camp without waking up with back and hip pain in the morning. I napped on mine before ever taking it out camping. It is hard to put together the first couple times, but it gets easier. No fear of breaking this cot, it was built sturdy. For the price and the how compact it is in the carry bag, you are missing out if you don't buy it. Read more

Hate it-Hate it-Hate it. You’ll pay to return item

It is a lie that this is easy to put together. The crossbars are impossible and the weird position your body has to be in in order to shove the crossbar into place almost legit strained body parts. Camping gear is notorious for being troublesome but this is one of my Top 5 most misleading. Whatever perks your body enjoys for it being so lightweight just be prepared for it to make up for that benefit by being hell to assemble. I’m dreading taking it apart in the morning. We had previously tested the Mopaicot camping cot which is quite a bit large and heavier but now I would far prefer it for the ease of set up and fast take down as well as extra height off ground. This did hold the weight off the ground so that’s a win but it was strangely softer/saggy that made my neck ache. Maybe the right pillow could solve this (used to sleeping on hard surfaces) but just putting it together made it an instant NO. Oh-and to add insult to injury you’ll pay to return it. If you’re someone who does well sleeping on firm surfaces then get a thermal mat to insulate from the ground or do one of the instant/open cots. I do think this gets easier as things get more used but I’d only use it if I was seriously camping and not just car camping for the weekend where weight is your primary concern. It isn’t worth it. Perfect cott but very hard to assemble

I had a few other cots. This is another perfect camping cot; stable, lightweight, and no noise. The only con is that the legs of this product don't have handles to tighten up to assemble. Almost impossible to assemble unless you're muscular man. Read more
