Best hot tent I’ve ever owned

Music ManFebruary 3, 2026✓ Verified purchase

The media could not be loaded. Let’s start by saying that I was skeptical that the reflecting material that is inside of the tent would actually do a good job of keeping the heat in of my hot tent stove and Boy was I pleasantly proven wrong! Though not the cheapest hot tent out there. It’s definitely not the most expensive but the quality is top-tier. I had no leaking during a heavy snowfall or rain and I was comfortably warm for the two days that I was out in 10° weather. The doors allow for great ventilation and the zipper pockets allow access to the top vents on the top, making it extremely easy to access. The set up is really easy and pitches up pretty quick with one person. Even with some minor gusts, the tent didn’t move at all. It is a fantastic tent for anyone who is looking for a really warm and durable hot tent for a really good price. Read more

Best tent ever!!!

ColinJune 1, 2025✓ Verified purchase

Best tent ever! Lots of tie down points to keep it sturdy in the wind. Extremely warm at night especially with a small stove. Fairly easy to set up, however recommend putting in and anchoring the center pole in first while popping up the tent. Also recommend doing a practice run at home with this one before you get to your camp site so you can figure out all the tricks and features. Tear down was much easier than most tents and the large bag made it very easy to get back in compared to the tiny bags on other tents. Over all best tent I’ve ever had and absolutely worth the price! Extremely well made and quality materials. Read more

10 Nights - 3 Unbelievable Storms - 1 Great Tent

JoelJune 7, 2025✓ Verified purchase

The media could not be loaded. Traveled 2,000 miles & truck camped 10 nights. We experienced 3 unbelievable storms - the one in Palo Duro Canyon State Park, Texas destroyed several of the nearby tents. The Naturehike Dune made it through the storm undamaged. In a park in Kansas we encountered quarter size hail & 50 mph winds. I was sure that the tent was going to rip to shreds but it survived unscaved. I’m sure this tent is not recommended for this type of camping & I might not believe this story if I didn’t experience it. It is easy to set up & take down. It will fit back into the storage bag. It is tall enough to stand up in. It has plenty of ventilation. My son & I used it without the inner tent. We used a tarp for a tent floor & this worked fine. We used cots most nights but slept on the ground several nights. Pro’s - light weight for a 4 season tent, strong, good headroom, easy to set up and take down, reasonably priced, lots of doors and mesh windows. Con’s - the only one that I have is that I thought I would be bigger on the inside. We did not use the inner tent - we used the entire tent & it was tight for 2 people, especially when we used 2 cots inside. Naturehike sells a larger version of this tent and I am seriously considering buying it. This tent withstood 3 major storms, keeping us safe and dry. It has my highest confidence & recommendation. I just wish it was a little larger so my wife could come with us next trip. Read more

An amazing value (with some issues).

Steven J.January 29, 2026✓ Verified purchase

For the price, this thing is unreal. Got the 10.9 (3+ person model). Very well designed and manufactured. Quality materials and attention to the layout. I'm striking one star because of a QC issue that is inexcusable, but the good must be stated first to explain why it's a forgivable offense. It's astonishing that a tent this well thought out and produced can come with such a low price tag. Some of the features really stand out. To name some: •The removable half inner is a great addition for temps above freezing when there may be a risk for some insects. •Two vents on the roof (in addition to the stove jack). Each can collapse/seal or be propped up. There are zippered mesh screens integrated as well. •Four giant doors, and ALL can be opened completely, sealed completely, or be meshed. Quality zippers for all. •Extendable awning for the front door (extra poles probably required) is well executed, even if if seldom used. •Mid-cross pole (10.9 only) adds a lot of rigidity for wind support. •Ample and robust support guy lines with multiple body attachment points. Great for weather. The quality control issue (see image): There are static lengths of nylon webbing that span the ground perimeter of the tent. You can see these depicted in many customer and product photos. There is a length between each of poles where they connect with the tent's ground perimeter grommets –– a total of seven segments for the 10.9....imagine a digital number eight as an overhead floor plan. Presumably, this webbing is to strengthen the foundation so that tension does not rely on the nylon body and zippers for structural integrity. While this is appreciated, there was an inexcusable manufacturing error made on my tent. Two of the lengths were approximately 18 inches short, preventing the tent from fully expanding length wise. As mentioned, the lines are static, integrated, and not something that can be adjusted wrong. The problem segments were between the middle-length support pole and far corner edges on one half only. This means one half of the tent was expanding fine (with poles allowed to fully extend) while the other half was scrunched up because the poles were restricted, constrained by the nylon webbing lengths from bringing the tent body to proper tension. Upon erecting the tent for the first time, I spent an hour trying to figure out what I was doing wrong. After much frustration and careful examination, user error was ruled out. I cut the short segments with a knife. That remedied the situation immediately. I've since added additional length to the two webbing segments to retain the structural benefit. I also had to repair one of the many zippers, where the teeth were separating at the sewed-off genesis. No biggie since it was not a structural seam. Something I would change: There are some zippers on the tent that are beefier than others. For some reason, the two side doors do not have these thicker zippers. Seems like they should. No failure yet though. All things said, this thing gets a strong endorsement. Read more
