Light. Comfortable

These pants are lightweight, comfortable and have good zippers. The only thing I'm not a fan of is the velcro zipper closure. Read more

Versatile, comfortable pants

Surprisingly comfortable and versatile pair of pants. The fabric is very delightfully waterpoof - I've taken them on several hikes through brambles and prickers and the water rolls right off, the fabric holds up to everything I throw at them. I was expecting them to be less resilient - but they're holding up. Fit was also more comfortable than expected - I was at first disappointed to see that the closure is hook-and-loop rather than a button - but it holds OK. That said - I do always wear them with a belt, because I don't fully trust that hook and loop (honestly, I probably would anyways, but it's like extra-emphasized). Fabric doesn't make too much of a swishing sound, which I'm glad about, as many nylon style pants are loud. Nice and light, so I haven't been overheating on these summer hikes. Fit around my hiking boots well as well, so overall I'm very happy and pleased with the product. The pockets are designed well, fit nicely. Great pick for something that would be good both in the outdoors and a more casual business setting/around town and look fine for both. Read more

The zipper is the problem.

To start with, it took about a week to get them when I was told a few days at first. The problem I have after trying them on is the zipper in front . The zipper seems like it only about half as long as it should be. It doesn’t really work for me unless you undo the pants too. I have had this on one other pair of pants, but a different brand. I will keep them but I might have someone see if they can lengthen the zipper so it is really functional for a man. Maybe they were trying to save money. I haven’t worn them in the rain or outside yet, Otherwise , they feel ok . Hopefully they will work in the rain. Read more

Great for casual everyday use

These lightweight pants offer a lot of upside and a bit of downside, but overall, they rock for a number of uses. They feature a stellar assortment of pockets. In addition to the two standard front pockets, there are two zippered pockets in the back and two zippered pockets in front. There's also a small vertical zippered pocket inside the left front pocket. They fit comfortably, wash and dry easily, and look decent. They want to be hiking pants, even including a triangle attached to a front belt buckle, but I'm not entirely sold on that. I have several pairs of Kühl pants, and these just don't compare as far as durability. Of course, they retail for less than half of a pair of Kühls. I sometimes do wear thin long pants in hot, sunny climates to avoid overusing sunscreen, but that's the only time I would use these on a trail. Still, they can prove useful in plenty of other situations. I'm also not completely sold on the Velcro closure. These don't have a traditional clasp, they rely on a piece of Velcro, see photograph, above the zipper. The upside of this is that they are more adjustable without using a belt. However, the downside arises because Velcro is notorious for picking up lint. My picture shows some fibers picked up after just one washing. Of course, if you're more diligent than I, you can manually remove them. I wouldn't characterize them as a must-have item, but I like them a lot for casual use and light travel. If you can find them on sale, even better. If you've ever balked at the cost of high-end hiking pants, give these a try. Read more

Fit good, lightweight, great for hiking

I got these for hiking and walking, and they are perfect for a day out in the woods or on the trails. They are very lightweight, and they repel water nicely. They also dry quickly, which is great after getting wet. Possibly from falling in a creek. I'm not admitting to anything. But yes, they dry fast. I also love the zippered pockets on the legs and in the left hand pocket. It's nice to have everything secured. So if you do fall in a creek, you don't have to worry about your stuff falling out of your pockets. Just saying. The fit was almost perfect as ordered. I ordered the 34x30, and the Velcro at the waist was good for taking in any slack. The length was just a little bit long, but in shoes, I didn't really care. They were a little baggy on me (I'm no model), but for hiking in the woods, it's totally fine. It came with a belt, but it has big belt loops, so you can use any belt you want. That's especially nice, because sometimes these pants come with really small loops. These are normal sized and I was able to use my regular belt, which was great. These are not lined, but I was still warm walking around in temps around 45-50F degrees. Comfy enough to wear all day. I didn't find any issues with the zippers or loose threads at all. Everything seems well made and durable. My new go to camping and hiking pants. Read more

Garbage

Ordered 30 long and they are way longer. They are also INCREDIBLY baggy and look horrible, not flattering AT ALL. The belt loops are also like 3 inches wide for whatever reason, so forget hanging your keys or knife from them. Read more
