I recommend sizing up. I purchased the medium (size 5), and it fits my 5-year-old daughter well, as she typically wears a size 4/5 in clothes. However, I’m concerned that it might become too small in a couple of months. I’m unsure how it will react in the dryer—whether it will shrink or not. If it does shrink, she won’t be able to wear it.
