I’m a solid size 9, and these fit great. I’m a young 66 yr old and the heel is fine for me, not too tall, not too flat. They’re a good looking boot, comfortable right out of the box and my new favorite boots to wear. They go a little higher up the ankle and at first I was aware of it. These boots are true to size and the vegan leather has a nice look and feel. I have high arches, and with a pair of Dr Scholl's insoles, these boots fit perfectly. The soles are nice and 'grippy', no sliding around on tile floors! I didn't realize there are two zippers--one on the inside of the boot to ease putting them on. The other one, pictured in the description, is decorative, not functional. I did deduct one star; the first time I wore them, I noticed the heel seemed worn, as if it had rubbed against the floor mats in my car. Fortunately, most people won't see the boots from that angle, but it was still a little disappointing. Read more

Love everything about this boot: color, fit, comfortable. The only thing is the zipper in the back is very stiff and difficult to zip. It’s almost impossible if you are wearing as it catches midway. Will sadly be returning because they are super cute. Read more
