I knew they would be a bit long on me at 5’3”, so they fit more like a regular pant on me. That said, the style just isn’t really my personal taste. I love the look and feel of these pants! The fabric feels smooth to the touch, has a nice stretch, and the ankle length boot cut is the perfect length for petite women. However, the sizing is where it fell short for me. Even at the smallest size (2), there are noticeable gaps in both the front and back of the waist when worn. I really wish it came with more size options for petite women. Overall, these pants are comfortable, stylish, and made of great quality fabric. Just be mindful of the fit if you have a smaller frame. I am obsessed with the way these pants fit. I ordered these Nautica Demi Boot pants in "Night Sky" and they are the perfect shade of deep/ dark navy. I typically wear size 8, but the size 'recommended' was a 12 for these pants- I assume because they have a slim fit. I compromised with a size 10. They are a little loose on me, but the fit is perfect for that casual/ relaxed look. The pants have a nice heavy material and lay perfectly. The demi-boot is great for someone like me, who is looking to get away from "skinny pants" but is not ready to fully revisit the 70's bell bottoms. These pants do not have front pockets (they are faux pockets). These are so flattering and a great alternative to jeans. They look great with heels or with sneakers. So cute and flattering. Sizing is a little weird which is strange for a name brand like Nautica. Quality, color, shaping, and all the other things about the pants are great. Fit a little tight in the hip area and the flare out was a little more than my girlfriend thought it would be. This turned out to be one of those 'perfect gifts.' The fit and quality of the material were a hit from the beginning. The stretchy nature of the fabric was cited as contributing to the overall look and fit (contour hugging). The one complaint was minor: front pockets. They are actually designed into the pants, but unlike the normal back pockets, are stitched closed. Removing the stitching reveals a shallow front pocket that apparently was designed with smaller items like cards and keys in mind. Other than that, it was all positive.
