My grandson just got a puppy and it’s his job to clean up after him. He was just using bags and was complaining about it as well as using lots of bags ( small hands). We now don’t hear complaints, it’s easy for him to change bags, I showed him how to take it apart and easy way by setting it on a step and just give it a soft push. Now every time he has to do a clean up he thanks me for this scooper. Suggestion if children are using this product use the hand held handle not the long handle there is more control and the waste goes into the bag not all over the yard. Read more
My out-of the-box first impression was extremely negative. The pole is half the length needed and the ‘collector’ portion was extremely small. The product worked well if you are collecting hard poop. Not so easy for softer. The product spikes or forks also bend easy if used on grass like centipede and tends to get stuck. On loose grass or leaves, the product works perfectly and is easy to use. Dumping the contents is also really easy. Overall I like the product. It is different than others. Points of improvement would be a longer pole and larger collection container. Read more
Listen to your reviewers. First and foremost, the can itself is tiny. I have 4 dogs and expect it won't take many scoops to fill this can. Secondly, you really need to offer longer handles. The sturdiness of the handle is definitely good compared to others I've had, but it requires too much bending. I do like how the scoop is attached to the container, and not separate. I also like the flap that closes when it's laid down. I definitely think it's somewhat overpriced for such a small capacity. This could be a superior product, but it needs to be bigger all the way around. Read more
Id say its a 2.5 starts. Bin is super small and doesnt hold alot of waste. The handle is way too short if your hoping to save your back by not bending over. The spiked tines on the front probably work better with dried out waste but if you have leaves, thick grass, weeds or wet waste its a struggle to get what you want in the bag and not caught up in the tines. It is light weight and norrmal bags you probably have work well, just as all pet owners know they are too small to fit much of anything. Over all with practice and time you can probably save some time with this product. Read more
People dissed this for the height but you’re bending over to scoop poop. I feel this is a perfect length (I’m 5’ 6” for reference). I have a 4.8lb Yorkie so her poop is tiny. I do have to sometimes keep scooping because it’s small and falls though but it still beats me having to pick up by hand or kids stepping in it! Not heavy and easy to put together. My 2yr old thought it was for him. Read more
I have three bullies, when cleaning the yard, my routine is a bag in one hand and a shovel in the other. When we go for walks, I carry bags in my pocket to clean up after them, then carry the bags in my hand until I can dispose these bags. This is the best thing since slice bread. Well constructed, easy to use, easy to clean, only one hand is needed Read more
Handle is not long enough for me but I am 6' 6". This is the only reason I didn't give 5 stars. This pooper scooper works great, just as advertised. I personally don't use bags and just dump it into a bucket with a lid. Very easy scooping, flap allows you to do as many piles as you can fit, and light weight design. Just don't be too rough with it since it is plastic except the pole. I would recommend the designers to consider an opinion for an extention for a little bit more cost and maybe an all metal version for durability but still keep the plastic option for buyers who are wanting a good price point. Overall, if it lasts for at least a couple years I will buy another one. Read more
This is a great product ! I purchased because it was Made in the USA! However , the handle is VERY short -1* Not easy to use .I would suggest and adjustable handle or something longer for sure . I'm 5'4" my husband is 6'4" with a bad back . My back hurts after picking up winter poop from two dogs . The bag will only fill half full, once half full the flap will not close. The flap will also not close if the bag is not completely flat-1* Read more
