This is definitely not a device the average gym goer would want but if you’re like me and want a stronger neck without paying the high price for other neck strengthening devices this is for you. Having a strong neck is important for almost all sports. The one thing I would say about this device is if you go real hard on a workout expect that you might have some type of headache. All those muscles in your neck run all the way up into your skull so you might feel tightness or soreness in areas you would not expect. Great product! Read more

After many months of working my neck with a plate wrapped in a rag on my head, i decided there had to be a better and safer way to do so, especially when using more than 1 plate. Holding more than one plate on your head performing neck exercises is an easy way for one to slip and bust your face. After a littler searching, i found the strong neck. This product is 85% of what i was looking for - it works well, but has a few shortcomings that can likely be fixed in version 2.0 Pros: - Fits the neck exercise niche perfectly - Comfy cushion and design - far better than the neck/head harness or a rag+plate(s) - Safe to use with multiple plates without worrying about one slipping from your hands - Can fit 3-4 iron plates without a problem - Small business in usa Cons: - The shaft goes from 2" thick at the base to somewhere around 1.75 at the top", so it will not fit a 2" collar on the top. -If you are holding the plates and not the device, after your set, if you pull up on the plates to remove it from your head, the shaft and device will slip out underneath and smack your face. Putting a piece of Velcro on top of the plates fixes this for the most part. A better solution would be to drill a hole in the shaft and stick a pin in it; Or make the shaft one big screw so a collar can be screwed down on any sized plates - kind of like a steel adjustable barbell. - It is 100% plastic. I was hoping the shaft would be steel. - Cushion feels like it'll flatten in time. We will see with regular usage. - Shaft could be a touch longer to help fit additional rubber plates. Overall - great product that will enter my weekly neck routines. Don't hesitate to give it a try. I hope the manufacturer keeps improving it and the next version fixes a few of the cons above. This product is especially important for the side of the neck which others don’t hit effectively. I saw a noticeable difference in about a week. This is one of my favorite products to use because it is portable and effective. We will see how it holds up, but for $30, it’s worth it for sure. Read more
