I miss viewed this holder as the side screw tightening the Mac mini in place. It actually is ONLY for extra SSD drive if you choose to add. This was not clear to me at first glance as not mentioned in initial photos. But, the ad is clear if you scroll down. This makes the stand wider than you need if you dont have a SSD drive. Still I'm going to give five stars because it seems well constructed, heavy and the Mac mini fits snug in place. For the price at purchase you get a metal stand at similar price as others are offering plastic. Having the side SSD holder may come in handy in the future. Read more

This is a rock solid drive holder for MagSafe phones. I use a Peak Design case which does already have strong magnets in it, and it’s actually difficult for me to remove this when done filming. My only wish is that it had some 1/4-20 attachments on the edges even if it made it thicker so I could mount my phone to a tripod or use a magic arm to mount it on something else. Perfect for handheld shooting though, and still fits in your pocket. Read more

Works exactly as described which is good for the cost. It does leave marks that rub out on a soft touch case so I would appreciate some felt or other material to protect the phone itself. Fits a T7 Shield perfectly. Read more

Once I received the mount,, I was thinking about returning it due to no thumb screw to tighten the item being held.. The description shows that it’s for holding a SSD.. I wanted it to hold my batteries on a monopod.. I have some larger 10,000 mah batteries and some small 5,000 mah.. this thing is built a little smaller that other mounts.. The rubber pads are nice & grippy.. Not only does it grip my small batteries,, it’s just big enough to hold my iPhone with a case.. It is metal and looks to be well made.. No only am I keeping it,, I’m actually going to order two more!! Read more

A couple of points to make here. I wanted to add weight to the phone camera-shooting set up. Buying this SSD holder opens up the ability to use SSDs I already have that are not magnetic. Plus it adds extra weight to the setup. When I factored in the Neewer phone cage, the two handles with quick disconnect, and the weight of the 10,000 mah MagSafe battery/charger, it works out by adding enough weight to help steady the rig. I also added a USB-C splitter to which I hook up the SSD, and wireless microphone receiver. This gives me a very comfortable handheld portable shooting rig. Read more
