Excellent product and outstanding customer service
The Neideso N700-4CH dashcam system is as excellent product that provides 360-degree coverage. It was straight forward to install. The system provides simultaneous high quality 3K video for the front camera and 1K HD video quality for the rear and two side cameras. Customer service is outstanding. The dashcam comes with a 12-month warranty, and Neideso will extend it to 24 months if you contact customer service and register your product. It has been a month, and I am very happy with my purchase decision. I highly recommend the Neideso N700-4CH dashcam system. Read on if you would like to see details and rationales for my recommendation. I decided to buy dashcams for my family in order to provide video evidences in a traffic accident. My in-law was hit by another driver from the side so 360-degree coverage is a key requirement for my dashcam system. I purchased three Neideso N700-4CH dashcam systems for my household and two for my in-laws. I installed all five Neideso N700-4CH dashcam systems, and I also upgraded the SD cards from the provided 64 GB to 256 GB. I installed and played around with the App, Tscam that interfaces with the dashcam before providing this review. I did not purchase the hardware kit with radar to enable 24-hour coverage. Installation of the Neideso N700-4CH dashcam systems was surprising easy for most of the vehicles (Ford F150, Toyota Camry, Honda Accord, and Hyundai Elantra). The Subaru Outback 12-V outlet was hidden in the glove compartment so it took a little more work to channel and hide the power cable. I was able to easily hide all the cables using the provided tools. The installation for each car took about 20 minutes except for the Subaru, which took around 30 minutes. The hardware kit comes with attachments to hold the cables if you do not want to spend the time to hide the cables. If you go this route, installation should take less than 10 minutes, but the end result does not look good esthetically with visible dangling cables. The dangling cables are a nuisance and possible pose a safety issue. I highly recommend taking the extra 10 minutes or so and hide the cables. The provided 3M adhesives are very strong. So strong that if you decide to move the location of the dashcam after mounting, you will have a tough time removing it from your windshield. I had to use a heat gun to soften the adhesive. My lessons learned I want to share is that take the time to plan out where you want to mount your camera carefully and practice mounting before removing the adhesive cover for the final installation. Installation of all the rear cameras were very easy because the rear camera is designed to be mounted on gently sloped back window/windshield (see attached 1st photo). For my F150 which has a vertical (90-degree) back window/windshield, it took a while before I was finally able to choose an appropriate location (see attached 2nd photo). I upgraded the SD memory cards to 256 GB. The Neideso 256 GB SD card was not available at the time I made the purchase so I went with the SanDisk 256GB High Endurance Video microSDXC Card and it seems to be working okay. Removing the old SD cards and installing the new cards was very easy. Just remember to format the new card using the dashcam setting feature. The Neideso N700-4CH comes with a comprehensive and well written user manual, and that proved helpful when setting my dashcams and formatting the new SD cards. I also installed the app, Tscam that interfaces with the Neideso N700-4CH dashcam on my phone. I followed the setup instructions and connected to the dashcam via Wi-Fi with ease. Once connected, the App’s user interface is intuitive. The quality of the videos is apparent (3K for front camera and 1K for rear and two side camera) when viewing them via the Tscam App. I wanted to change the mounting location for some of my dashcams after I mounted them on the front windshields. That was when I realized how strong those 3M adhesives are. It was so hard that I resorted to using a heat gun to soften and loosen the bond to the windshield damaging the 3M adhesive in the process. I contacted customer service and they bend over backward to help resolve my re-mounting issue. Customer service sent me suction cup mounts, free of charge. With the suction cups mount, I was able to try different locations until I was able to find location for each car that I am completely satisfied with (see attached 3rd photo). I didn’t know that Neideso sells the suction cup mount as an accessory. I offered to pay for them, but customer service did not want to charge me for them. Neideso customer service strived for my 100% satisfaction. I love a company that backs up its products. Note that there is no phone number for customer service, just an email. The user manual stated that customer service typical answer your email within 12 to 24 hours, and I find that to be true. More often than not, customer service responded in less than 12 hours.
