I use my 2018 Mac Mini (which I got for like $200 on craigslist lol) as my main workhorse PC. I'm a professional music composer and audio engineer for films and video games and I wanted to upgrade my little discount workhorse (which came with 8 gigs of ram - ew). I followed an IFixit guide on how to upgrade the ram after buying this and... it works! Perfectly! Plug and play. Now this $200 Mini performs better than any new macbook pro I've ever had. I took a chance when this RAM had no reviews. I tried another brand but theirs didn't work for my iMac after a month. This has been flawless after installing it. I waited the 30 seconds to let my iMac reset things when it started back up. Since then, it's been doing its thing and my computer runs snappy. Hoping to buy another set of these and have plenty of RAM for any task. UPDATE: my iMac crashes constantly. Took it in to the Mac store and they ran diagnostics for days. Turns out the RAM is the culprit. Now I'm stuck with my stock 16GB RAM from Apple as this RAM doesn't work properly. It's a shame as I hoped I could do well with this. Read more

RAM... After doing a bit of research it became evident that memory has to run at the system bus speed or it doesn't work. I'm just saying. There are videos online on how to install. And don't forget while installing to to wear an anti-static wrist strap. Read more
