Works as intended. It's a bare bones system that simply plays your media, but is a step above playing movies on the PS5, which is limited to what file formats it can play. A lot of media is encoded in such a way that should play on the PS5 but does not. This media player solves that issue, and allows the use of subtitles which, again, the PS5 is incapable of playing. This is a great entry level unit that is so easy to use that there's no need to read the manual. The remote control works without a hitch. I have no complaints about this player. It will suffice until I upgrade. Read more
Outstanding Performance – Exceeded My Expectations! I recently purchased the Neumi Atom 4K Ultra HD, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best electronics purchases I’ve made on Amazon. The picture quality is absolutely stunning. The 4K output is incredibly sharp, with excellent detail, vibrant yet natural colors, and impressive contrast. Even Full HD content is upscaled beautifully, looking clean and refined. You can clearly tell that the video processing is high quality. Audio performance is just as impressive. It supports advanced formats and delivers rich, well-balanced sound, whether connected to a full home theater system or a simpler setup. I experienced no audio/video sync issues at all. Setup was quick and effortless — plug it in, configure a few settings, and it’s ready to go within minutes. The interface is smooth, intuitive, and responsive. The remote is simple but effective and works reliably without any lag. Another strong point is the build quality: compact, solid, and sleek design. It doesn’t overheat and runs consistently even after extended use. In short: ✔ Excellent 4K image quality ✔ Great upscaling performance ✔ High-quality audio support ✔ Easy setup and user-friendly interface ✔ Fantastic value for the price Highly recommended for anyone looking for a reliable, high-performing 4K player without unnecessary complications. I would definitely buy it again. Read more
This was my first purchase of this kind of device. So my first issue was trying to put batteries into the remote when I first took it out of the box. Thinking the panel should open up further ended with me snapping the panel off. I could still put it back on, but I'd have to try not to slide the battery panel off with my hand when I'm holding it. So I opted to just not putting the panel back on. Definitely my fault, but could have been designed better. The interface is pretty simple and to the point in what kind of media you'd want to be playing. Listed my video files with a basic file list. Even with it full of video files, it handled playing media off a Sandisk 512GB USB stick pretty quick. (https://a.co/d/67lhvGy) I'd watch stuff during my lunch break and stop the video when my break ended. While it wasn't too big of an issue, my place in the video would only be remembered for one file at a time. So if I wanted to watch something new, my stopping point at another video would be forgotten. I was pretty content with how the box was working for a while. Then over time of me plugging it in, unplugging and disconnecting it from the TV, and then putting it in my locker, the power plug started having an issue. The power port felt loose and the plug wiggled just a tiny bit, where the device wouldn't power on unless I kept tension on the cord to pull it downward. Sometimes it was if the plug wasn't turned inside the device. I managed with this new "quirk" for a while until recently it just wouldn't power up at all anymore. Since it wasn't working, I took off the cover to see if I could find the issue internally. I couldn't see any loose soldering or anything that would look like the plug could be fixed. It was a decent media player for the few months I had it, but I would caution people to be careful with the power adapter to not put too much force side-to-side on it when it's plugged in. Read more
We have multiple TV displays throughout our office. The Neumi 4K has made our lives so much easier for displaying graphics. The units work predictably and very easy to set up and use. Very intuitive. We use Canva to make the video graphics and then transfer to a USB drive and it works great. Thanks Read more
