Bought these shoes looking for something lighter and more comfortable and they just so happen to be perfect. No heel slip despite an initial feeling there could be some. LOVE these shoes. Use them for pickleball mostly these days as it’s hard to find good tennis partners. Fit is true, generous toe box. It does have a gusseted tongue which is ok. I would prefer if it didn’t but it’s fine. Great grip on court. Read more

I am trying a different model now but I did enjoy these shoes. They lasted 6 months before the sole wore through on one side. I am a bigger guy and play 9 hours a week or so. Only noticeable issue for me is because of the unusual placement of eyes, the laces wore the fabric off the front ankle area almost immediately. This was only an aesthetic problem but it is disappointing how quickly it happened and isn't an issue I have experienced with other shoes. Shoes were a bit tight for 2E (wide). My ASICS normal width feel better than these shoes . I would not buy them again. Read more

Hard as a rock. Heavy. Wayyyyy thin. Non-flexible. If it had Ben supple leather like the Nikes of the 90s, it’d have been a winner. Read more

Very disappointed in durability. Bought them in August and the sole was significantly worn by December (also one of the sides on the fabric started tearing). My last new balance tennis shoes lasted me about 5 years! These might be better suited for clay courts. I used them once or twice a week for pickleball (hard court, obviously). Love the fit, comfort, and look. Hope they keep making this model but with better quality sole materials on the next generation! Read more
