I have wide feet & toes that are always on pain. These are wide in the footbed which gives them plenty of room and for the first time in a long time I can wear an enclosed shoe with no pain. I work from home and my entire house is tiled besides the bedrooms. No matter what should I wear after a while my legs and back are killing me. These shoe/slippers make me feel like I am walking on a cloud. They are PERFECT, except for one little thing, they are very warm. I wish NB would make the exact same shoe except for top being a cooler type of material. Regardless, these are a game changer for me. LOVE THEM! I wear a 9.5 in women's so I got an 8 in mens. They are a tad loose but with socks, they are perfect. I wear them in the house AND in public as a regular shoe. I bought these a couple months ago and wanted to wait and see how they worked after I broke them in. Since the first day I wore them I've had a problem with them being slippery indoors on hard surfaces. This is a problem since I'm a delivery driver and I'm inside many different restaurants every day. They are perfect for outdoors and keep my feet warm. I bought them a little big because I have cold feet and wanted to be able to wear thick socks with them. They keep my feet warm and are waterproof. I have to be careful walking indoors with them especially since it's winter now and there's often water on the floors from snow. It's so hard to find slip-on shoes that work with thick socks to keep my feet warm enough so I'm going to keep wearing them for now, but the slippery-ness is annoying. It's been over 15 years since I started having difficulty in finding shoes/slippers/sneakers to wear. None of the orthotic shoes, sneakers or slippers designed for those with "abnormal feet" fit or allowed me to walk outside. I spent over $1,000 on custom-made inserts, oxfords, bedroom slippers, etc. I was walking around in bedroom slippers that had holes my husband created so that I could add a shoelace and tie around my foot, for pete's sake. Then I saw this New Balance moc-slipper while searching on Amazon's site. Since New Balance, was/is a popular brand with an excellent reputation, I took a chance. OMG. For the first time I was able to walk outside for more than a few minutes at a time (being forced to sit). I can't believe how comfortable these shoes are (despite the marketing as a non-shoe) and I've been wearing them for several months. I just bought a second pair. These shoes are ridiculously comfortable, fur inside keeps feet super warm, they slip on and off easy, and are very well made. I love them so much. Size runs a lil small so buy a size up but perfect shoes. Read more
