Being a 6'3 man with large hands, this makes longer play sessions 100x more comfortable. It's possibly designed in such a way that it retains a low profile look while adding enough "meat" to grab onto for more comfort. It even works with front and back screen protectors -- perfect fit! Durability seems fine, although I'm not eager to do a drop test to fully find out. Quality doesn't seem pristine, but I wouldn't say it feels bargain bin cheap either. The weight of the Vita in it plus the slight texturization on the grip feels pretty decent. For what it costs and what I'm getting out of, I don't regret my purchase whatsoever. Potential cons: - "cheap feel"... but I think this is a potential moot point, as any of these aftermarket grips are going to embody this to some degree. No grip attachment is going to feel as good as a Dual Sense controller. (Also, something to note, there is no rubber, it's all plastic -- false advertising.) - "Stand Pins" don't work?... These are located on the bottom of the grip. I don't really know what these are for, but someone's review said they were a potential stand. I didn't buy the grip for this reason, so this is also a moot point. - "case edges around L/R buttons" are slightly protruding on the front and your index fingers might rub onto them. Depending on how you hold your hands, this might be an annoyance for some. - "Vita doesn't lay flat" if placed on back. Given the shape of the case, when laid down it will bias and roll so back camera makes contact with table/surface. The top edge of the screen protector covers the camera, but just something to be cognizant of depending on where you lay it. Read more

I really like it. I'm a pessimist so I bought this thinking it might not be great but for the price, I wasn't gonna complain. I've had it for a few days and there really isn't much to complain about. It fits nice and comfortably in my hands. The Vita alone was making my hands cramp after a while and that is no longer a problem. It's made from a plastic material like any regular controller and despite it's design it seems to be pretty durable. If you're a person like myself that takes care of their things you shouldn't have much to worry about. If it does break, it's reasonably priced. All in all, I'm happy with it. I would buy again. This functions really well as a grip, snapping onto the device in such a way that it doesn't feel bulky and intrusive, and doesn't detach from the premium appearance of the device, but also makes it a lot more comfortable to hold. I did notice an immediate improvement in how long I was able to play my favorite rhythm game for the console with the grip, as well as an improved ability to perform more complex button press patterns because I wasn't also having to focus my energy on holding the console with my really long fingers. The only kind of downsides to it are that the plastic does feel rather brittle, so I think if you were to drop the device with this grip on the grip would inevitably shatter, and also the two pieces that are meant to act as a stand that slide in and out of the lower portion of the grip don't really work correctly on my unit. I can't push them far enough out the back for it to act as a stand, and I am able to push them further forwards than they are meant to go. I honestly just leave them pressed completely in and as long as I'm not pushing directly on that area I don't accidentally move those pieces around. Read more

The listing says this handle stand is only compatible with the PS Vita 1000, but I can confirm it also works with the PS Vita 2000. I ordered this on by accident but My Vita 2000 fits securely and feels comfortable to hold. The stand makes longer play sessions much easier on the hands. If you own the 2000 model, don’t worry — this will work for you too. Read more

Fits nice and flush with the face of the Vita. Palm grips are comfortable and well textured. Doesn't cover the rear touchpad. Only negative, which I honestly don't care about: The pegs that push out to act as a stand are a novel idea but poorly implemented. They don't always stay pushed out, and you need to use something to push them out. I glued them in place since they're pretty useless. I have a stand for it anyway. Read more

I love it so much, I've always been interested in classic Monster Hunter, so I got this and used it with my Vita to play Monster Hunter: Freedom Unite. Feels great to use, and easy to install or remove from the console, and it's honestly just perfect in my opinion. Cheap, comfortable, durable. Read more

Really like this grip. Feels good, even with large hands, although it's still not quite as good as a real traditional controller. The clips at the bottom are going to snap if you're not careful. The grip material feels kind of cheap, although the texture helps. The slide out nubs on the back for standing it up are a bit flimsy, and pushing them out from the front is annoying, but they work well enough. I would probably recommend this over something more expensive even with these flaws. Read more
