I’m a novice at watch battery replacement. Getting a press on back in place and secure without a dedicated tool invites failure and/or breakage. This tool works well. Watch battery replacement has gotten expensive so I factored that in when I decided to buy this tool. Read more

It definitely gets the job done. There’s just a few things to keep in mind. Obviously this is on the cheaper side, and it shows it. 3 of the adapters came with melted plastic inside the treads, which were easily removed with a knife and it only takes a few minutes. Secondly, some of the metal center screws were not flush. Which is obviously a concern because the metal could have contact with the watch. You can rotate them manually with a set of pliers or a screw with the same size. Lastly, the center screw metal piece is not fully set with glue, so if you screw them on and off, it might move. For me, these things are not a big deal, but just thought I’d post it for others to keep in mind when purchasing. UPDATE: A few months after, it became crooked. Also, top handle broke. Top screw came unglued. A few front glasses have been broken. I no longer recommend this item. Not sure how warranty is here, but I don’t think is item is meant to be used more than a few times.
