Somehow I missed that there are twelve (12!) tongs in this set. But these are nice tongs and the rubber/vinyl grip sets them apart from the usual tongs you generally find on food bars and such. If you host large parties, have a restaurant with a food bar or have a catering business, this should prove to be a good set of tongs to have on hand. These are not the type of tongs that you can squeeze together and pull the little ring, and they stay sorta closed, just a heads-up. These are the tongs you find in most cafeterias and such. They are one piece of metal that you can squeeze together to pick up food. They have a grip material on the part where your hand goes, and that has been nice for when my hands are wet or covered in grease, I feel like I am getting a better grip. Wow a dozen tongs! They are super strong stainless steel with a great gripping silicone handle, easy to use. I will keep a couple out and store the rest and use as needed. One concern I have is the metal could be a little smoother. Some of mine have sharp edges. Other reviews said these are great for dishwasher. I wash all my dishes by hand so if that's your case also be careful! Other than that these a great quality. Great for entertaining. I think the price with an average of 2.25 each is a fantastic deal. Did not realize there were twelve in this pack but it matters little because they work great. They have a vinyl grip that makes them easy to use and they feel very sturdy and well-made! The only problem I have is that I wish there was some built in way to close the tongs together for storing. They come with rubber bands holding them together but unfortunately I misplaced them and I dread having to get my own rubber bands to keep them shut. Other than that, great tongs. These tongs are great. They are perfect for the price point and are easy to use. I kinda wish they were hinged just to be able to keep them in the drawer a little easier, but I still find that they are perfect. Now I can keep a pair around the grill, in the kitchen, and even took a set to work with me. If a fireman can't break it, then it can't be broken. Read more

For those of us who have worked in kitchens this is a staple. These are made to be used daily and washed over and over. I have a pair that have been in use for longer than I care to say and still look great. These are strong stainless steel and they have a fantastic dipped grip that has a nice texture to it but not too aggressive. Where the grip ends is the only place you have to watch for build up. They weight almost nothing and you can't pick them up without snapping them closed a few times, just to make sure they work! Read more
