Sliding them on was the first reality check. They have a side zipper, which is a blessing, but the fit is... specific. The pointed toe is stylish but unforgiving, especially if you have even slightly wide feet like I do. I am crossing my fingers that the faux leather will soften up a bit with wear, because right now, they feel a bit like fashionable foot armor. Multiple reviews say to size up. I followed that advice, and I'm glad I did. My usual size would have been a definite no-go. · Comfort is not their top priority. They are stiff, and the toe box is narrow. These are for nights where looking fabulous is the main mission, not for all-day wear. · They're strictly for special occasions. I love the leopard print and the heel on this pair, very stylish and exactly as pictured. The design is eye-catching and perfect for dressing up an outfit. I have wide feet, though, and the pointed toe combined with the upper design makes my feet look even wider. They’re not very comfortable for long periods of standing or walking, and I don’t really see much cushioning inside. These boots are absolutely gorgeous, even more beautiful in person. They’re fairly comfortable, as comfortable as pointed-toe stiletto boots can realistically be. Of course, they’re not sneakers, but they’re totally wearable and easy to walk in once you set expectations right. I ordered half a size up, and I’m really glad I did. It allows me to wear socks comfortably, and I honestly think my usual size would have felt too snug, especially around the toe area, so I'd recommend sizing up. I love this new pair of Newbella high heeled boots. The khaki and darker snake print is very cute and I like the thin metallic heel. For sizing and fit, I typically wear an 8.5, but order a 9 in this brand. The 9 even feels a bit small, though it fits me comfortably. There isn't much room to spare. While the foit area is smallish, the ankle sizing is generous and would be appropriate for wide ankles. The look of the boots is great. The snakeskin print is attractive and thd buckle details add interest. I like the shiny heel - which is sturdy - but I wish it was champagne colored to better match the fabric of the boots rather than silver. That is also true with the silver buckles, as they don't quite match the material super well. That is a minor criticism as I do like how they look and walk. Overall, the boots are very adorable and true to their ad photos. They run a bit small in ths foot area but not the ankle. They are easy in which to walk and their side zipper makes taking them on and off easier. These are really cute and the material is textured and they do look like actual snake skin. The heel seems sturdy. I ordered my usual size and it fits barefoot or with a nylon but if you are going to wear anything thicker than a nylon stocking, I would size up a half size. They are rather stiff with very little give, so if you have wide toes, I would also size up. Read more
I normally love how my shoes fit from NEWBELLA but these were just way too tight for me and I'm a true US 11. A little disappointing because I had plans for these boots. Make sure you order a size up. Read more
