These Newbella chunky heel, stretchy, knee high boots are beautiful and comfortable! I bought a size slightly smaller than my normal because my exact size wasn't available and boots tend to fit larger on me than shoes, but I would recommend sizing up if you are between sizes, because although these boots are made of stretchy material, they are also a slim fit. Mine fit just fine, but getting my foot in and out of the boot requires a little effort that I expect I would not have if I had sized up. The material is a thick and sturdy material that includes some stretch to it. These are not a flimsy stretchy material boot - these are well made and sturdy boots. I love the chunky heal that gives height with the platform but allows for low heel comfort. These boots were different than we expected. Not a bad different, but just different. The product illustration showed these standing straight up making me think they were like regular boots. These, however, are like a clog-type shoe with a stretchy fabric up the leg. My lovely wife said she liked this different kind of boot. They were easy to pull on. The shoe part fit her just right. The stretchy leg part fit her well in the calf region but were a bit loose around the ankles. She said that didn’t bother her. Easy to walk in and adds a good 2-3 inches to her height. They look like clunky sole boots with a big buckle. They came in a sturdy box and had a fabric shoe bag for each. Overall these are good looking boots and we believe that the leg part will breathe better than traditional boots. Of, they are true to size as well. Read more
