These boots are absolutely stunning. The winter white color is so chic and the slouchy, pleated look is really flattering on the calf. The mid calf height hits at the perfect spot and makes your legs look longer without feeling awkward or stiff. The heel height is great. It gives you a little lift and feels stylish without being uncomfortable. I can easily wear these for running around, going out to dinner, or dressing up a simple outfit. The pointed toe adds such a polished touch and makes them look more expensive than they are. The suede finish is soft and looks really elegant, and they pair beautifully with skinny jeans, skirts, or dresses. They definitely elevate an outfit. The only downside is that shipping took a long time. Mine took over a month to arrive. That said, once they showed up, they were completely worth the wait. The listing says that these boots are for everyday wear, and I agree. I wore these all day without any issues and they were easy to walk in. The heel being just over 2 inches helped with this. The padding for the insoles are nice, they almost have a memory foam type feel to them, and it runs all the way from the back of the heel to the front of the toes. The suede material feels so smooth, love the texture. The inside lining is thick, and surprisingly provides some nice warmth in the cold weather. Another plus would be that these are great for women with wider calves. There were a couple of downsides. Not major but worth pointing out. I ordered a full size up and they were a perfect fit. So glad I did and I would suggest to do the same. Regarding the width of the shoe, these would fit well for narrow and standard width feet, but people with wider feet might have some discomfort. Since there's no zipper on these boots, it was a little challenging to take off and the smooth suede material added to that challenge. Just a heads up. Overall, I'm satisfied with these boots. These boots are HOT!!!! Even though the heel is lower, they are super sexy. Before I get to into the review let me say, the only reason I took one star away is because it took a few days over 2 months to get them. They were worth the wait and I didn't need them for anything specific, just thought you should know that if you're in a hurry to get them, triple check the shipping date. So even though the heel is only approximately 2.5" but with the color and pointy toe, they still elongate the leg. They hit about mid calf, well maybe a little bit higher but then, I have very short legs so you have to factor that in as well. They are super comfy and easy to get on and off. The pleating gives them a bit of a dressier look so they would be totally appropriate for work or would look great for a night out on the town. These are attractive, comfortable boots. The color is true to the picture, which is a very pale beige/cream. I got these to replace other beige boots that the heel broke on, and these are MUCH lighter, like a "winter white". For me, that's a bit disappointing because they don't go with nearly as many things as my other boots did, but they are pretty nonetheless. True to size. Read more
These run a little big. There is a lot of extra room in the toe area and the pointed toe is very elongated. Normally Newbella is a very comfortable brand. These however leave me just a little disappointed. They are not as comfortable for a lot of walking as normally this brand is. They are very pretty. The suede is very soft and smooth. They are well made and good quality. There is a small amount of cushion on the insole. There is a small amount of texture on the sole to prevent slipping. They are sturdy. Read more
