This baby girl Christmas romper is festive, and the gingerbread pattern is cute. It is a very light-weight romper which will be great for babies in warm climates but those in colder climates will probably need additional coverage. The bottom part of the romper has a silky feel, and the top is stretchy and feels soft but not silky. I ordered a size 12-18 months. The measurement from the top of the shoulder to the bottom of the leg cuff is approximately 25.5 inches so I think it will fit an average sized 18-month-old. However, I do wish the elastic at the bottom of each leg was a bit smaller/tighter to make sure the legs blouse out on a 12-month-old baby to adjust for the length. The elastic where the top is sewn into the bottom section is soft and stretches out easily. It measures, unstretched, approximately 8.5 inches across but can stretch out another two inches or so. The material the romper is made of is 95 percent polyester and 5 percent elastane and is machine washable according to the information posted on Amazon but the tag on the outfit does not specify the material and does not provide laundry instructions. I have not washed this yet so can’t comment as to fading or shrinkage. When I do launder it, I plan to let it dry flat since there are no laundry instructions regarding drying. Also, the snaps are made of a light plastic, and I wouldn’t want them to melt if they aren’t meant to be put in a clothes dryer. This is a very cute outfit to add to your little one’s holiday wardrobe! The print and colors are crisp and vibrant. The fabric (both the red and the printed) is very soft to the touch and has some stretch/give which is great for active babies and toddlers. I love the super cute print and the ruffles that go up over the top. The sleeves also have ruffle bell cuffs, which just add to the overall aesthetic. I absolutely love this design and love dressing the kiddos for the holidays. The reason I rated a 3 is due to the sizing it's big and runs more like a 12-18 vs 9-12. This outfit is super cute… love the colors and design. It’s very thin, which isn’t great for winter unless you live in warmer climates, but even then, it is made out synthetic material (it’s 95% polyester), so not very breathable and not the greatest quality material. It’s true to size and the material isn’t rough on the skin, just not the best material. It does come with a cute headband. If I saw this in store and was able to physically touch it before buying it, I would skip it. It’s cute for pictures, but not practical. Read more
