I waited a while before giving a review because I wanted to make sure it would last. Well, it's been several months now and I can say this is a great product. It does exactly what you want. You just place the controller on the charger which is super easy and it fits perfectly. Then the controller charges when not in use. It has two slots so you can charge both at the same time. I have mine plugged into the wall via an outlet adapter you have to provide, but who doesn't have a hundred of those lying around. The blue light is really just to let you know it is powered on. Don't expect it to tell you the controller is charged or not. When I drop the controller on the base, I just make sure it lights up right away to show its charging, then I forget about it til I play next. I've never had an issue of it not charging or losing power. It looks great too on the desk. It's a light plastic but feels solidly built. Like I said, it only does one thing but it does it well.
