So, this is not really a bad hair dryer but its also not a really amazing hair dryer, by any means. This is an entirely plastic bodied, very basic hair dryer. It does fold, making it pretty ideal for travel. It folds extremely compactly and the cord is spiraled, making it super easy to pack in just about any bag. The power settings are decent: not especially powerful nor especially weak. Just very basic. The noise level is extremely quiet though, which does make it very useful for travel as well. Mine arrived with an additional nozzle attachment but unfortunately it seems to have broken in shipping, as it could not be attached to the dryer. The sales page also states that it comes with a “storage case” but mine did not. What is interesting is that the box it arrived in appeared to be previously opened, leading me to believe that this may have been a resold return product. Which accounts for the broken attachment and lack of accessories. Its likely that a new product would not have this issue. Read more

This Newhouse Foldable Hair is compact, measuring approximately 5" x 9" when folded (not including the cord) so it's perfect for travel or if you don't have a lot of extra bathroom space. It doesn't matter for my use, but the description shows it having a spiral cord and the one I received has a straight cord. It gets really hot and dried my long hair quickly, but I want to note that it only has two speed settings (low and high) and both are the same (hot) temperature. There's a cool shot button, but other than that you can't adjust the temperature. It's not super loud, but it's noisier than another similarly sized dryer I own. The dryer itself seems good quality, and it's lightweight and easy to hold without making my arm tired. Overall, it's a solid, compact dryer at a good price. Read more

This is a great hairdryer! It’s got multiple heat settings, and the cool shot is truly cool. It’s lightweight, and the folding design means it fits easily into luggage or smaller spaces. It’s one of the quieter hair dryers I’ve used (although no hair dryer is “quiet,” obviously). I was actually expecting it to be less powerful, based on the weight and lower noise level, but it dried my medium-thick hair quickly and easily.
