I’ve purchased this 3 times and it’s a recommend to all the women in my family and to everyone that I know. These things have you fresh. After 24 - 48 hours you can notice the difference. But as I continued to take them I noticed that the pill wasn’t fully dissolving and I found a fix for it . The same type of applicators that I would use for cream applications… with gloves (because it could be irritating to the skin) but with gloves I’ll unscrew the suppository and pour the powder inside … holding the applicator in place that the powder doesn’t slide down to the bottom of the applicator and from there I just open up and SHAZZAM!! No undissolved issues anymore. Also just be sure if you do this to wash your hands before you touch your face or any part of your body … just be careful . But this has helped with my BV and also helps me get a nice reset after my cycle .. it’s good to give your body time to cleanse itself after your cycle because that’s what it does but after the clean out if there remains an unpleasant odor .. definitely pop one of these babies in. These are a small pill type capsule, not the regular type suppository, so it kinda stuck to the skin and didn’t want to glide in. 🙈 I needed to buy Monistat 7 day yeast infection suppositories to get the applicators. They work well with them. I just keep it in alcohol to clean it between uses, remember to let the applicator DRY before use. I can’t say I’ve noticed any difference, I was recommended them to try to relieve intermittent pelvic pain. I will probably continue using them for a couple months to hopefully know one way or the other if I benefit from use. They didn’t do anything negative and I’ve had no issues from use. So I’ve recommended them and feel comfortable doing so. I know borax is great for yeast infections and great as a prevention of them. Hope this helps someone. Read more

Update: NEWLIFE brand, I HATE YOU! I loathe you! I DESPISE YOU!!! Not having the $$ to keep throwing away, I have been trying to use these in half capsules, pulling them apart so the powder will actually get out of them. Result: It’s a big mess, and it HURTS. The open end of the capsule pinches and scrapes. And then I have to fish the plastic bit out the next day because it’s still there. And the powder is still there too, in a little hard ball. But at least then it will hopefully dissolve when I take the capsule part out. So then each capsule+boric acid powder takes 2-3 days to use, not the one-a-day schedule I’m supposed to be doing, especially since I’m taking antibiotics at the same time. So THINK about it! Do you want to go through this?? NO YOU DON’T! Try a different brand! Probably one that costs at least twice as much. You get what you pay for, right? DON’T BUY THESE!😭😖 Original review: They don’t dissolve! After a whole night, the capsule was still perfectly intact, not dissolved AT ALL. What’s the point? May as well use a Lego or a freaking tic-tac! If the powder can’t get out of the capsule, it CAN’T DO ANY GOOD, OR ANYTHING AT ALL! —> A complete waste of money. <— When the capsule finally DID dissolve two days later, the “powder” was just in two hard clumps. It didn’t go anywhere, it just sat there with its own sort of own coating that formed a plastic-like wall between it and getting out. I am so MAD!
