After a week of having them installed, they are bright and actually light up the edging to my driveway. Easy “on” instructions, and lights can either be 5/6” off the ground, but they also include an extension piece which would make the lights about a foot off ground level. I am totally amazed at how bright they are. They have a very clear light and I found I did not need as many solar lights as first thought. Great product, excellent price. These solar lights do a fantastic job of brightening up my walkway and creating a very appealing look at night. The light patterns on the ground are beautiful, and they provide just the right amount of illumination for safely walking up the path without being overly harsh. Installation was simple, and overall they add a nice decorative touch to the yard. That said, at least one of the lights tends to stop working after rain or sometimes won’t turn on at all—even after I’ve double-checked that the switch is on. It’s not a dealbreaker since the rest work fine and look great, but it can be a little frustrating when one light is out of sync with the rest. For the price, these are definitely worth it, and I’d still recommend them if you’re looking for easy, affordable solar pathway lighting—just know that durability in wet conditions could be hit or miss.
