Gentle and Reliable—A Must-Have for Sensitive Skin

StevenAugust 18, 2024✓ Verified purchase

The Nexcare Gentle Paper Tape has been a fantastic addition to my first aid supplies, especially for securing dressings on sensitive skin. The tape is incredibly soft and gentle, yet it holds dressings securely in place without causing irritation. As someone with sensitive skin, I’ve often had issues with other tapes that are too harsh, but this one lives up to its promise of lifting away gently without leaving any sticky residue behind. At 1 inch wide and 10 yards long per roll, you get plenty of tape for multiple uses. The fact that it’s easy to tear by hand is a great convenience, eliminating the need for scissors and making it simple to use in any situation. Whether you’re covering a small cut or securing a larger dressing, this tape provides reliable adhesion while being kind to your skin. One thing to consider is that, because it’s designed to be gentle, it may not be as strong as some other tapes for securing heavy or bulky dressings. However, for everyday use and those with delicate skin, it’s perfect. And here’s a lighthearted joke: Why did the tape go to therapy? Because it couldn’t stick to its commitments! In summary, the Nexcare Gentle Paper Tape is an excellent choice for anyone needing a soft, skin-friendly option for securing dressings. It’s reliable, easy to use, and ideal for those with sensitive or fragile skin. A great addition to any first aid kit! Read more

A good buy!

Andrea MMarch 17, 2026✓ Verified purchase

I am a caregiver and the woman I purchased these for uses this tape on her feet to help protect against abraision. Typically, she would buy them at Walmart but our stores here have been out of them. I thought to check online and so glad I did- easy to find, came in a two pack and the adhesion is perfect- the one's we bought at Walmart didn't tear by hand easily as though the adheasive was in a hot room and didn't lift off of the roll nicely. These ones did the job and I will certainly order them again without hesitation. Read more

Stop mouth breathing

R MachanJuly 12, 2024✓ Verified purchase

I buy these rolls of tape to use for mouth taping at night. This is my favorite brand after trying several different ones including the stuff marketed as mouth tape. It generally stays in place well without being too sticky or leaving adhesive behind. My only word of caution is if you use oil based face products the adhesive gets sort of melted and the tape really sticks too much. But otherwise exactly what I want. Very comfortable to sleep with. Bandaids are sticky

A. B.September 7, 2024✓ Verified purchase

I’m having to change my dressing daily and I have always loved fabric bandaids. They are not good for sensitive areas, though. Maybe the adhesive is too strong, but it collects lint and caused some strong irritation when removing. Not paper tape! I use an alcohol wipe to clean the area (and make sure to only apply to clean, dry, product-free skin), and the tape goes on smooth. It’s easy to tear right off the roll, no need for scissors. Super easy to place and even one roll goes a long way. Definitely a value add to any bathroom, car, first aid kit, or sewing kit. Read more

It's ok, but why so pricey?

I mean it's paper tape. Tears nice and easy. Paper with adhesive and nothing magical. Read more

not for sensitive skin

hannah millerDecember 4, 2025✓ Verified purchase

quality for medical tape was fine, but it still irritates skin. the adhesive sticks to skin after removal and it has left welts on skin in my experience. i know theres tape somewhere that doesnt do this, i just have not found it. ultimately though, it does stick and is effective for proper wound care. maybe just skip if you have sensitive skin.
